Time to Make Frands [4 skia / open]

He always hated reading. When he'd finished this boring novel about a few grown men and some dead mice, he was sure he was done with reading for the rest of the year. The library was filled with Winters mostly, but hardly any Autumns. He didn't belong here The plan now was to go find something to eat and pretend he wasn't supposed to check out another book, that he should've done a week ago.
That was, until he ran into some guy. "Oh, shit!" He hissed, taking a step back. "Where the hell did you come from?"

"The floor is always a possible option," Richard retorted, honestly a little taken aback by the fact that he just got ran into by someone. Usually it was an instinctive reaction for his power to ultimately work by itself and have people phase right through him. He guessed since he had a little bit more of a control over it, it wouldn't happen as much, although he regretted that. Being run into hurt... a lot. Also stepping back to put some distance between himself and this strange guy, Richard gave him a rather confused look. "What's got you in such a big hurry?"

Preston looked rather thrown off. "The floor is a... what?" The autumn gave him a strange look. People said the weirdest things here, though. He should've known better than to think about it too much.
The Autumn sighed, dusting off his shirt. ... This guy was taller than him, he noticed. Fuck. "I'm not exactly what you'd call a big-nosed bookworm." He answered blandly, "I was gonna go grab some pizza and start a game or two." Pres smirked, "You rushing for the latest copy of Kitten-Kissing Monthly?" To him, this guy kinda struck him as kinda soft.

Surprisingly, Richard chuckled before he turned part of his attention to the bookshelf not far from where he was standing. "That was funny," he responded, grabbing a book from the shelf. He really had no idea what the title was, but he had been looking for a specific author that was recommended to him from one of the teachers so that he could try to catch up for the new classes starting up. "What's funnier, though, is that you know about that magazine." Sure, it wasn't a great comeback, but he wasn't really looking for one... except now that he thought about it, he was sure it sounded pretty stupid.

Although it wasn't the greatest comeback in the world, it made about as much sense as his stupid remark and was still enough to catch him off again, leaving him staring awkwardly for a good moment or two. "Ah - err... I..." He stared up at Richard, wondering how much that made sense to him, before laughing and shrugging a lot of his bravado. "Oh yeah, I think we might be thinking of different magazines, though." Ebs has a terrible dirty joke and doesn't know how to deliver it because she's lame so I'll leave his vague comment to your imaginations. "What's your name?" Pres asked.
