Another Arrival

Okay, no need to be worried... What could go wrong? Letting out a large sigh, the boy slowly pushed the school gates open. He was already having second thoughts about doing this. Maybe I should just go back... I mean, she needs me. Ugh, how could I leave her? Trying to forget about his mother, he took his first step. Wow! It looks so beautiful! He stood wide eyed as he took in the beauty of the school's entrance. I should probably wait for someone to come. Looking around for a spot to wait, he found a perfect place to rest. He sprinted over to the fountain, and sat down beside it. He slipped off the bag around his shoulders, and set it down beside him. He unzipped it, and took out a large book. A large smile covered his face as he opened it, and started to read.

Hosa was hanging out in front of the school, swing her feet aimlessly from her spot on the top of the roof. Now a perfect, she figured it was one of her duties to go help the new people; like show them around. So, sometimes during a lot of her free time she now hung around the front of the school, waiting for new students to arrive.

Of course, it was a very boring job, as new students didn't come that often but it did give her time to relax and it was pretty hard for people to bother her on top of the roof of the school. However, she found herself growing bored by the second, before she sat up with a huff. Was it really worth the time to- Hey, that looks like a new student. When she had sat up she had taken notice of somebody sitting next to the fountain reading a book.

So, her waiting for new students hadn't been in vain. She slowly and carefully stood up on her perch on the roof, before she closed her eyes and pictured a form that would be helpful to get off from here. She didn't exactly care what form she got; she just needed something that could fly. A second later she found herself in the form of a hawk. The name of what kind of hawk came to her mind, but she pushed it aside as she didn’t care at the moment. Instead, she spread her wings and pushed off with a flap.

Her flight was short as she landed on the other side of the fountain. She had thought about trying to mess with him, but decided against it. She was a perfect; she felt she had to be a bit better than that...Only a little thought. But with a soft sigh, she turned back into her normal form and strolled around the fountian to the new student before she can to a stop and leaned forward with a large grin. “What you reading?”

OOC: Why must I feel like I must make long posts? *shakes fist at the sky in rage*

"Oh, uhhh, it's old." he replied, without looking up. "You probably won't know anything about it. It's called Infinite Jest. I've been told it's really long, as you can see, but it's worth it. It was given to me as a gift, because I had to leave my family to come here." Should I bend the page? No, that would be terrible. I wouldn't want to ruin a good book. Well, it doesn't really matter. I'm still on page one. Ooh, I need to find something to use as a bookmark! "Uh, sorry, but do you ha-" he stopped when he saw the person. He quickly pulled a scarf out of his open bag, and wrapped it around his face. "I-I-I-I kn-knew someone w-would be here, b-b-but why you?!" He didn't like girls. Actually, he was kind of scared of them. He had always thought those bouncy things on their chests were weapons or something. The point is, he never liked them. He had seen girls slap the other guys at his school, he knew she would do the same."P-P-Please, spare me!" The scarf drowned out most of what he said, but he was sure she heard him. He covered his head with his hands, and slowly pulled the scarf down to show one eye.

Hosa hummed happily as she listened to him talk about hi book, looking at it with a small grin. Normally she didn't read books, but if they looked really, really good she could give them ago. However, she blinked in surprise when her new 'friend' took real notice of her, and freaked out. She titled her head as she stood up straight, placing her hands on her hips as she listened to him ramble on in his...Was it right to call it fear? Yeah, she supposed it was. Of course, when he finished she let out a small giggle, her eyes shining. "Well, aren't you an interesting fella? But..." she titled her head, rubbing her chin for a short moment. "I suppose I could spare you...Only out of my kindness of my heart and you a new student." Now, Hosa had no idea what he was freaking out about, or what she was sparing him from but how he was reacting, she guess he was expecting her to hurt him or spread her 'cooties.' She didn't exactly care thought; she wasn't planning to do either.

A smile covered his face once more as she decided to let him live. "Thank you thank you!" He started bowing, as if she were some king of god. "I-I-I will d-do anything you ask o-of me." Slowly, he looked up at her. Oh no, this isn't good! She's still going to do it! Bringing his hand up, he pointed at the girl's chest. "Um, If you're going to spare me, could you put away your chest weapons?" He could feel his cheeks burning as he stared at her chest, but why? They were just concealed weapons. M-Maybe she has bombs hidden in there! He felt so weird just staring at them. "Uh, I'm s-sorry!" he quickly pounded his head against the ground, and whispered to himself "Owwww, this really hurts!" He looked back up at her, and said "Oh, there's one other person coming. He got stuck in the town and had to do something."

Everything the new person just said had made no sense to Hosa. She did like the whole 'do whatever you ask' thing, but she got completely lost at the the mention of her chest weapons. Was he referring to her breasts? What the hell was even up with calling them chest weapons? She shook her head with a soft sigh, but pause when he pounded his head against the ground before he looked at her again. Her eyes narrowed faintly, sighing as she folded her arms as she looked at him. "I'm not that stupid," she said in a soft voice, her eyes sparkling softly. "But there is no need to freak out; I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise. And I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about my 'chest weapons'...But ah...I promise not to use them on you?" She paused to muse about the whole 'chest weapons' thing. She did suppose that they could be pretty useful against certain guys, but never did she think of using them as weapons...Where exactly was this guy from to get an idea as silly as that?

"Not that stupid?" What did she mean by that? Did she not believe him? "N-No, it's true! We came here together. He saw a bakery and told me to keep going." She had to believe him, why would he lie to his master? "J-Just stay here, he'll come soon." He had to. It had taken him a long time to get here, mainly because he had taken his time, but that didn't matter. The other boy seemed so energetic, he wouldn't have mind running. "I'm sorry, you don't even know my name, Master." He unwrapped the scarf, and stood up. "Uh, If I remember correctly, my name is Dante."

"Oh?" she titled her head as he spoke about his friend. She had just figured that he was trying to get her attention away from him so that he could make a run for it or something like that, but she guessed it did make sense. "Fine, we shall wait for your 'friend'," she said with a grin as she folded her arms. Hopefully his friend would make more sense than he did. She was a bit suprised when she refereed to him as Master, but hey, she could live with it. "My name is Hosa, but I would prefer you still call me Master," she said with a grin as she turned her attention away from Dante for a quick second, wondering when his friend would arrive before she glanced back at Dante, making sure he wasn't going anywhere with an amused stare.

I don't think I called him my friend. He didn't like being called his friend, he was just a stranger. "I just said I came here with him. It doesn't mean we're friends." Why did this bother him so much? "Wh-What? You act like I'm hiding something." He felt weird having her stare at him like that. "Could you uh, stop that? Master?" Okay, now he felt worse. He hadn't felt it at first, but calling her Master was a bit embarrassing. "I-" he stopped as he heard someone's footsteps in the distance, followed by someone yelling his name.

Damn, that took longer than expected. Another boy rushed down the street with a pink box in his hands. "It'll taste good though!" As the school came into sight, he sped up. Almost there! He kicked the gate open, and almost immediately the gate came back and knocked the box out of his hands, and knocked him down to the floor. He stretched his arms out, catching the box before it landed. Letting out a sigh, he got back up and entered pushed passed the gate, a little softer this time. "Dante! Heyyyo, Dante!" He waved as he started to run again, getting closer to the both of them.

"Hmhm," Hosa hummed as she grinned, before shrugging at him. At his request, she let her attention drift off; catching sight of the newcomer. Her eyes widened when she watch him get knock down by the gate, but when he swiftly got back up, she sighed softly in relief. She didn't want to have to take anybody to the infirmary. She watched as he grew closer, folding her arms close against her chest as she waited. "You must be the person Dante was talking about," she said when he finally got close enough; hoping that he was at least a bit more normal that Dante.

As he finally reached the two, he replied "Oh? He's been talking about me?" He didn't know how to feel about that. The way she said it made Dante sound like he was into men. "He was probably just smitten by my good looks, nothing to worry about." He couldn't help but laugh as he said that. Dante didn't seem like that type of person, but what if he was? "Oh, my name is Mark... Would you like to try one?" As he finished, he opened the box he was holding, revealing a couple rows of donuts.

"Huh? N-N-No! How did you even come to that conclusion?" Was this why he was getting bothered earlier? He let out a sigh, and said "Master, could I be excused?" He didn't want to be near the other one anymore. He would obviously need to find the dorms, which would take a while, but it would be nice to just get away from him.

There was a sudden burst of giggles from Hosa as Mark talked, but she shook her head as she took up his offer on a doughnut. "He wasn't talking about you like that," she scolded with a glint in her eyes. "He told just me that you were going to be here in a bit so that we would have to wait for you. Oh, and my name is Hosa." She finished by biting into the doughnut she had picked up.

As she chewed her doughnut, her gaze shifted to Dante as he asked to leave. With grinned softly as she swallowed so that she could talk. "Hm...Nope; as a prefect it's my job to show you guys around; and I'm not letting you get away. Besides, this campus is huge; you can easily get lost if you don't know your way." She paused for a quick second, before waving her hand at Dante. "Oh, and no need with the whole 'master' thing now. I'm bored with it and its clear you aren't enjoying it so no need for it. Just plain old Hosa will work."
