A new arrival

Beautiful. One word could describe so much for a school. A female sluggishly walked into the school, bags under her pleasant grey eyes, looking along the gates of the school, a beige bag loosely dangled on her shoulder as she began looking over the rest of the entrance, nervousness pricking at her facial features. Charlie looked towards the cloudless sky that shone ever so elegantly above her slumped and tired form. "I shouldn't have gone to bed so late," Charlie groaned as she put her index finger towards her temple, rubbing it in a circular motion. As her sluggish walk came to a stop she sat herself under the cool shade of a tree, not minding the dirt coating her jeans, it wasn't long before she had a soft grey sketches of the school. "Kind of hard being a new arrival so late in the year, isn't it Charlie?" she muttered softly as she proceeded to darken the sketch.

Walking outside into the fresh air with a soccer ball tucked tightly underneath her arm, Lindsey took in a deep breath before looking up at the beautiful sky. With all of the stuff going on in the school, she tried her best not to think about it through usual everyday activities, although after being freaked out of her mind with the news of the fate of the headmaster and such, she'd been really practicing her power, and to be completely honest, it was a lot more fun than she thought it was going to be. Eavesdropping was awesome... and creepy, but hey. If you got it, flaunt it. But as soon as she looked around, she noticed a new girl still carrying her bags to be carried into the school. With a quick skip, Lindsey made her way over with a smile. "Hi there!" she said cheerfully.

"O-Oh, hi there," Charlie chirped, her grey eyes immediately brightening as she looked up to see another student approaching her. Quickly she looked over the other, noticing all the popping out features and skimmed over the smaller ones, after looking over the student opposite of her she closed her notebook with a 'fwap!' shuffling over to her beige bag she gracefully placed it back in. Charlie once again got to her feet with her beige bag this time across her chest in a more stylized manor.

As soon as the new girl closed the book, Lindsey's eyes flicked over so that she was just seeing the new girl put the book in the bag and stand up with a smile. Almost mirroring the stranger's happiness, Lindsey smiled as well as she stretched out her hand for Charlie to shake. "I'm Lindsey. What's your name?" she asked cheerfully, hoping that she wasn't being too forward with the girl.

"I'm Charlie, nice to meet you Lindsey!" She chirped gleefully brushing a few strands of wavy blonde hair behind her ear, at ever so prominently stuck out. 'So far, she seems quite nice, maybe I can eventually befriend Lindsey?' She hopefully thought, though the wish felt so hard to achieve, seeing as how it was hard for her to even earn one friend.
