A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] Empty
PostSubject: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyMon Jul 24, 2017 8:23 pm

He was sick of being in this room alone. He was sick of being in this place. He was sick of everything now. And it had only been just under a week. Caine needed something to fill the void, and fast. Wondering the grounds of this dusty prison wasn't cutting it for him. If anything, this had only served to make him more aggravated, and he hadn't learned any more about his 'powers'. The whole thing was pointless. It was probably while he was halfway through his second glass of rum that the idea had occurred to him. There had been three things that distracted him from the gaping whole he avoided dealing with: sex, alcohol, and crowds. That was the answer. All he needed to do was throw a party.

There were a few other initiates still stuck here, but he didn't bother to ask them if they cared. Tonight, the dorm would house anyone wanting a night to not think. Within the matter of a couple hours, everything was all set. His parents had funded the whole event. Booze had been delivered from a few different local places. Caine had hired a DJ. All he needed was the people. He'd spread the word to a few of the kids he had talked to via text and told them to pass on the message. There looked to be a promising turn out. His room was decently organized in an attempt to make it look fine for the evening, just in case anything were to specifically happen her. Already the buzz of the alcohol numbed his mind. Now, just to wait. His watch read '10:00 pm'. It was time.

Aleksandar had been testing out the limits of his recently new body when he had heard through the grape vine that there was to be a party in the Initiate Dorms. While that place was an absolute shithole, his new personality apparently wanted to party. So that's what he decided to do. He walked towards the larger dorm area and entered, noticing that only one other person was here. Looking around the room, it was obvious that the person throwing the party had tried to clean up the best they could."So, uh, is this where the party is?" he asked, leaning against the door frame. He hoped he wasn't misinformed and the person was just super tidy. That would be embarrassing.

Word had spread that Caine would be throwing a party and as soon as Asher heard that she smirked. Finally she could fall back into her routine full of drinking and wild parties she had every weekend. But it didn't matter her father was never home and when he was it was never on the weekends. "Well I would hope so. Otherwise there's no way there would be this much booze out." A voice behind the boy chuckled. The girls white hair flowed all the way down her back and her red eyes held a mischievous glint to them as she leaned back against the wall with her arms crossed. Her outfit of a Black jumper that showed off her pale skin. There was a skull on her hip and she had a grin on and one eyebrow raised as she took in the two boys. Being stuck in the initiate Dorm wasn't so bad but she couldn't wait to get into a dorm house with some people that she could mess around with. The girl got up off the wall and walked over to the boy standing in the hallways.

A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyThu Jul 27, 2017 10:35 pm

"Jesus H. Christ," came another new voice from just beyond the doorway. "Quite a setup."

A second later, in waltzed Anthony, an already-tipsy swagger to his step. It was a personal rule of his that he could never show up to - or leave, as a side note - a social gathering sober, so he'd finished up what little remained of his rum and taken off.

He hadn't directly learned about the party himself. Esper, the school's designated messaging system, confused him. The internet confused him. Hell, anything electronic that wasn't a damn landline phone confused him. He'd heard two of his roommates talking about it the other day and listened in on the conversation. Word had apparently spread around so fast that it was a wonder the staff hadn't expressed any concern.. Of course, Anthony didn't really care what the staff thought. What were they gonna do, suspend him during summer holidays? Send him back to a home he hadn't been to in fifty-seven years?

Booze was stacked neatly off to the side. Music thrummed in the background. It wasn't what he considered party music, but it was loud and distracting, and there were enough funky lights around to make up for it. Nice. "So whose party is this, hey?" He sauntered towards the three students who were already present, thumbs hooked to the pockets of his jean jacket. "Ain't these the initiate dorms?"

It was strange that a new student was throwing a party so shortly after arriving at the academy, but hey, props to them for having the balls.

Evelyn wasn't going to miss a party that promised hotties either. While she did have a boyfriend, her favourite hobby was still going around in full make-up and half-naked to see whose attention gets snatched faster. The party wasn't anything big, but they did have enough drinks to make up for it. Roderick wasn't there - it was going to be a pain to struggle and be the loyal girlfriend she'd told herself to be. Before joining the only group there, the Autumn slid by the booze table and picked out a bottle and took a large gulp.

"Kudos to whoever did, though." she mumbled after Anthony's question, greeting the fellow drinker with a pat on the back. It was about time someone took charge and made this summer worth losing at Beata instead of some crazy holiday.

Another boy entered the dorm, already tipsy and carrying a half-empty bottle of gin. Harvey, without his dog for once, had heard rumours of a party being set up within the initiates dorm. Whoever set this up so soon after arriving had balls. With a nod of recognition, the red-head slipped in, taking a rather large swig of his drink. "Fancy place you got here," he hummed, looking at the other students who slowly pooled in.

So far it looked like it was going to be a big sausage party, but a rather scantily clad young girl stood out among the plethora of men. "Looking a little cold over there toots," he commented, gesturing to her bare skin.

Evelyn batted her eyelashes at the student, turning around with a sly smile. She traced a line from her hand up to her bare shoulder, bitting her lip sensually. After a couple of seconds she advanced towards him, smiling. "I'm sorry hun, but this girl is taken." she whispered into his ear and tipped the bottle of beer down her throat, taking a healthy gulp of the golden liquid. "But it's nice of you to ask." she added. It was nice to see her plan was working. She had asked herself whether if Roderick wasn't there she could just let herself not care about their relathionship, but that would have been hard, with his gift of telepathy. Cheating was mildly out of the question.

Harvey only smirked. "Sorry to break it to you, but underage girls who try too hard aren't my thing." He took a gulp of his own drink before turning away and headed towards one of the couches. "You just look a little too... naked for a high school party. You sure you should wear that to a party if you're already locked down?"

With a flop the red-head sat down on the cushions and crossed his feet on the coffee table in front of him. He glanced around, eyes searching for someone new to talk to. He spotted a young boy who looked rather awkward as he stepped into the room. "Hey newbie, grab a drink and sit down. You're making me look too comfortable here," he called to Aleksandar.

PostSubject: Re: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyMon Jul 31, 2017 4:21 pm

Parties were definitely not Vivian's thing.

They always ended up promoting less-than-admirable behavior in others and only ended up causing more trouble than they were worth. When she first heard word of a party being thrown in the Initiate Dorms, she had paid little mind, but whenever she had heard that it was Caine throwing a party, she had talked herself into at least stopping by for a while- after the acquaintanceship was the closest thing she currently had to a friendship.

Shuffling through the door with reluctance, Vivian managed to take one slightly mortified glance in Evelyn's direction before continuing into the room, feeling slightly relieved at the disappointing turn out. Rising up to the tips of her toes, she spent a good moment searching for Caine for a few moments before finally spotting him. "Hey Caine!" Vivian called, beaming in the dark haired boys direction as she made her way over to him.

A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyTue Aug 01, 2017 11:26 pm

Her brother would hate her for doing this.

Sydney wandered down the main hall of the Initiate dorms, sunglasses in her pocket for once. Wander might have been the wrong word to use. She was here for a reason: to find a hell of a party. And there it was, already begginning to glow from the warmth of the people inside. For a momoent she lingered out in the open and eyed any people milling about in the dead of night. They still radiated heat, as they had been their whole lives, but had been more visibly noticeable for the past few months. The Summer student was still trapped in the infrared spectrum, although it seemed normal now. Once again her flame blue gaze scanned the area for a Guardian, or some other party-pooper, before turning into the dorm room.

It was getting pretty warm in here and people were already getting slightly tipsy, if the beating of their hearts could tell her anything. She didn't make a sound as she moved towards a pair of people - where she assumed the drinks were - and gently swept her hand across the table to grab one. The brunette fumbled a bit until she had a firm hold, the leather gloves protecting whatever she held struggling to grip against the condensation on the outside. Maybe she'd take it slow, try not to handicap her sight or coordination any further. Or.

Or she could have a ton of just plain fun. She was already grinning at the prospect. "Never been more glad to not know a single damn person at this school."

PostSubject: Re: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyWed Aug 02, 2017 7:30 pm

"Come on in, grab a drink." He motioned for the few that had begun to saunter in to fully come inside. His right hand gestured back towards the table stocked with everything from Bud Light to Jack Daniels. A variety of mixers were off to the side, his guests would not be forced to drink anything straight. At first the music was low, but the disc jockey quickly turned it up as soon as people stated to join them. The music shook the walls. Conversations were almost instantly drowned out by the sound. There would be no need for talking tonight, only feeling and doing. Caine wouldn't have to open up to anyone here. They would all simply, and ignorantly, ignored the night and forget their problems. The thought caused a grin to spread over his features. His addiction to the feeling of obliviousness was probably the most dangerous one of all.

As the couple of other students walked past, he shook their hands each briefly before moving onto the next. His parents had raised him to be a good host. No matter what was going on before or after, you always smiled and made sure the guests were happy. Of course, after a few drinks, Caine would not care anyways. After a moment, he turned to go off and find his own drink. The flask that constantly took up space in his front pocket had been emptied only a few moments earlier. A soft voice caught his attention and caused him to whip around. A genuine smile caused the edges of his lips to curl up. It was the girl from earlier. Vivian. She looked just as beautiful as the first time he had seen her. Quickly abandoning his current task, Caine turned to her with a grin, "Viv, it's good to see you again."

A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open]   A Little Party Never Killed Nobody [Open] EmptyWed Aug 02, 2017 10:42 pm

Anthony snorted quietly at an exchange between a scantily clad young lady, cotton candy for hair, and a ginger beanpole. Someone was a little in over her head. "Hey, darlin'?" the Autumn addressed Evelyn. He absentmindedly reached back and cupped a.. Whatever was on the table, and took one long, gratuitous inhale of it. "Gettin' to know more than one person between the sheets is all fine and good, but wearin' two different shoes at once is never in anybody's best interest, if you catch my drift."

He sipped his new drink - some sort of citrus liqueur concoction that frankly tasted like sour piss - and let his eyes wander elsewhere, jumping from one new arrival to the next. A girl with frighteningly blue eyes, the shade of a nighttime restaurant sign, sauntered up to the alcohol and plucked something out of the array for herself. Anthony leaned back against the table, propping himself up on his elbows and tilting his head in her direction. Now wasn't the time for chastising fifteen-year-olds. Now was the time to make some friends. "You picked the wrong place, then. Kinda hard not to get to know people at a party." He drank again. God, he hated the taste of orange, but he couldn't find it in him to put the drink off to the side just yet.

Asher walked over to the drink table and grabbed the vodka bottle before taking a drink and then sitting down on the other end of the couch and putting the bottle back. As she sat she watched the people around her with semi-interest. She took a couple more drinks until she could feel a nice buzz coming on. The necromancer sighed in relief and kep drinking until she was slightly tipsy.

Apparently Alek's new personality despised sarcasm, causing a sour look to cross his face when the white-haired girl gave him a snarky response. He stepped into the room and sat next to the boy that had called over to him. He was no stranger to drinking, although his new body was, so he'd have to be careful how much he drank. How embarrassing would it be if he was forced to regenerate because of alcohol poisoning? "What drink would you recommend? This body is new to drinking," he asked Harvey, not realizing how weird it might sound to say "this body."
