Let's Skate {Open}

A smile crossed the prefect's face as Harrison was able to glide forward. He had been right! Leo kept pace with the white haired boy, hand out for him to grab in case he were to fall. "Hmm." A thoughtful look crossed his face. "Well, back home there is a indoor ice rink. And Aleta--my sister-- would go every weekend with her friends. Because I am supposed to babysit her, I went with her." He paused as he spoke to glance his sister's way. It looked like she was with the siblings so she should be fine. "It looked like fun so I had she and her friends teach me."

Once they were back with her, Aleta began moving once more. Her brown eyes glancing up at Louis as he spoke. The dark haired girl nodded, although rather sour that she was only known as her brother's sister. "I'm Aleta. I do think we met before, although it was kinda short." The brief moment was when Keirsta came back, and the siblings seemed like they were in a hurry to leave once she got back. "Nice to meet you properly then?"

Hearing his story had brought a small smile to his face. Back then they were wealthy so his own sister had gotten her own personal ice rink and professionals to teach her. Since Harrison wanted no part of it, he had never learned to skate. 'So that's a normal way to learn skating, friends.' Carefully trying not to fall down and not make any sudden movements, he had turned to the direction that Leo had looked to. 'Huh, sister eh? Dosent hurt to ask.'"I'm guessing that one of them is your sister? If so she can skate pretty well." He had seen her glide on the ice and thought that she did pretty well.

Louis smiled, glad Aleta was not someone to snap at his timid presence. ”The pleasure is all mine.” The tall blonde couldn’t help but feel something tugging at his skin. Something that said Well, go on. Don’t you want to be someone more than just a guy she skated with? Louis wanted to say something more but couldn’t find it in him to do it.

Pepper followed the two, noticing her brother was particularly quiet. She wondered what was going on through her brother’s mind, though could most likely guess.

Leo nodded as Harrison spoke, his hands going to his head to adjust his cap. He brought his gloved hands to pull the cap over the tips of his ears. Which were turning red from the nipping cold. His hand gestured over to his sister. Toward the dark haired and shortest one of the group. "She's the shortest one." Aleta was pretty short compared to Pepper or Louis. Who seemed to tower over her.

Aleta just gave them a polite smile and continued forward. Her blades soaring over the ice. She let her self go into a spin pushing off diagonally with her left and propelling herself into the air. Aleta took care to keep her feet inward so she shouldn't catch the others with her blades. She landed softly, and glided to a stop. There she waited for the two siblings to catch up.

Having Leo's confirmation that one of them was his sister had made Harrison look more carefully at them. He had noticed that she looked liked her sister when she was younger. Since this thought had popped into his head he had decided to shake it off. After clearing his mind somewhat he had looked again and had seen her jump and spin off the ice. 'Now that's just showing off... Actually it is ice skating... What else are you supposed to do.' After seeing her do that his competitive nature somewhat kicked in and he had reverted to giving his all. "Wait a minute what am I doing?" Noticing that his power could help his practice he had decided to do so. After falling down he had used his power to move himself up, instead of putting his hands on the ice and risk falling down several times. Because of him moving himself up his hair had looked like it was being lifted in one of those supernatural shows. "Ah, this will make it much easier to practice with" After landing he had turned to Leo again with a question. "Say, who can skate better? You or your sister?"

Louis and Pepper watched as Aleta did some sort of skating trick. Pepper swirled around, now skating backwards and facing her brother. "So. I see you like Aleta already." She said teasingly, a brow raised.

Louis almost fell when Pepper asked him that question. "Who said that?" He stated.

"I'm your sister, I know these things." She smiled.

"I barley know her." The blonde sighed.

Leo watched Harrison use his powers to help him skate. He gave the white haired boy a smile. "That is a good idea, Harrison." The prefect complimented, letting down his guard. Now that Harrison could help himself, Leo didn't have to worry about him too much. The teen made a thoughtful face. He or Aleta? Who was he kidding? Leo didn't care as much when it came to ice skating. So he never devoted himself to it. While Aleta on the other hand loved it. She spent a ton of time on it. "Aleta without a doubt. She cares much more about the sport than I do." Which may not seem like an actual reason to Harrison. But to Leo, he knew it meant everything. Once Aleta finds something she cares about, and will put effort into, there's no stopping her.

Speaking of the fallen angel. She kept her face forward, her face flushed. Her ears picked up what the two were saying, yet she didn't want to react to it at all. The girl was unsure how to respond to this. So she took this opportunity to speed back to her brother.

Hearing Leo's response Harrison had nodded to clarify that he got what he meant. Since he had gotten an answer back he had his attention back to what he was trying to do, skate. Although he had said before that he had wanted to learn how to skate without using his powers, he had given up on that thought. Looking straight ahead where it was somewhat away from the other skaters he had gone forward and had planned to see how well his power could help him. After getting a nice forward momentum he had used his gift to expand the air behind him for a boost. That said boost was poorly made since it had changed his course towards the other two. Having had tried to save himself from the bad air propulsion he had been skating forward but was only moved by the air that was behind him. Thinking about how crashing into the two of them would seem pretty bad he had to act quick. Whether or not the two had seen Harrison was pretty irrelevant due to his high speed so he kinda had one choice. Before knocking into the one not skating backwards, who he couldn't tell who it was, he had managed to teleport himself a short distance past them to fall to the ice instead, safely. "Hehe quite sorry about that"

Pepper smiled at Louis as she skated backwards, turning her head slightly to see Aleta skate ahead to Leo. “Great, I bet she heard what we were talking about.” Pepper gave a sigh and kept skating.

“No worries.” Louis reassured her with a soft smile. Atleast he was with Pepper, nothing in the world could’ve made him an happier. Her short petite build, cute smile, and kind spirits always made the tall blonde feel good. He knew her past with 11 brothers and their feelings was a bit rocky, but he wasn’t ever one to love her intimately. He may seem timid but inside is a knight in shining armor, always their for her protection.

She heard ice skates in the distance getting louder but was to late to say anything. A person going extremely fast shot towards them and somehow managed to change their course. Just in time, for the student made Louis spin in a circle before almost falling. Pepper skidded to a halt a few feet away from Louis.

Ruining his wonderful day dreaming was a huge brush of air and almost falling on the cold ice. He looked up, seeing a student fall to the ground a little ways away. “Hey, watch it!” He called after the boy. “You okay?” The brother asked Pepper.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine” She replied, though maybe shouldn’t have spoken so soon. The siblings just happened to stop on random thin piece of ice that barely supported them, much less the other kid flying by. Pepper looked down at her feet when she heard a cracking noise and suddenly she was engulfed in ice cold water. Pepper gave a shocked scream and scrambled for something to hold onto, each time she almost got a hold on the ice, more would break away., this point her waist was in the lake.

Louis couldn’t believe such a happy moment could turn so bad, so fast. His instinct was to run to his sister, but his gut told him that was dangerous. it didn’t help that he wasn’t a very good skater since that would make it even more difficult to pull her up. Screw it. The tall blonde panicked, skating forward to the icey hole. He could tell Pepper’s arms were getting tired so he acted fast. He grabbed on of her arms but the weight was too much. ”Leo!” He yelled behind his back, knowing he would have more luck with the prefect’s help.

The prefecr greeted his younger sister with a smile, holding his arms out for a hug. A smirk crossed Aleta's face as she went into it, then just before she reached his arms, the girl took off into another direction. She spun around, waiting for him to take off after her. The girl's knees were bent as if she were to spring into action. Leo had a dejected look on his face for a long moment. Until he saw the look on her face. A challenging look. A race around the lake it was! He pushed off after her. The blond's skates barely leaving the ground when his own name filled his ears.

Chips of ice scattered as the blade of his skates pushed him to a stop. Blue eyes searched the distance. It had been Louis to call his name. He could see him and Harrison. Where was Pepper? A faint sound of water from that direction indicated something was not right. Forgetting about Aleta, the prefect tore over in their direction. As he got closer, Leo could see that the girl had fallen into the water and was barely keeping afloat. His eyes widened a large fraction. Being from Michigan, he knew the dangers of being in cold water for long. With heavy clothing on to keep herself from being cold, it would only make her heavier as the water soaked and made the clothing like a lead suit.

A hand unzipped his winter coat. He couldn't use his wings with it on, they didn't have any slits for them to appear out of. Thankfully Leo had worn a shirt underneath that did. Not finding a bit of hesitation in himself, the prefect tossed the winter coat on the ice. He could come back for it later. In a flash of light, a pair of white wings came to existence. Using his momentum from the ice, Leo got down low. Heading straight for Pepper, his arms out in front of himself. As he got towards where the hole was, the prefect made a single stroke of his wings, giving him just enough air to scoop the girl from the water, and safely back onto the ice.

During this, the water seemed to have stung his hands with the cold air, the cold biting at his appendages. Leo could only imagine how Pepper felt. Still holding her, Leo looked back at the others with a serious gaze. "We need to get her back inside. The water is very cold." He sat her up a bit more, doing his best to ignore the cold and wet fabric that she wore. The crisp feeling seeping into his once warm clothes. "To the dorms." Hefting her into his arms, Leo beckoned them along with his head. The prefect debated to fly to the dorms, worried about how much longer she could stand to stay back outside.

After Harrison had apologized for almost knocking into one of them, he had then seen the one that's not Louis fall. 'Shit how the hell did that happen!?' Quite furious at the fact he has dodged properly but something happened. He had heard Louis call put to Leo for help and had a thought. 'Huh, so his power can't get someone out of water. Wait that's under ice water.' Realising that the other person must have been freezing under water he had gotten up quickly to save her, only to fall to skates. He had taken the time to take it off as quick as possible. As he took them off he saw Leo throw off his coat and suddenly sprouted wings. 'Angel physiology, huh.' Taking off his skates and running on the ice to see what had happened he had seen that Leo had safely gotten her out of the water but was still soaking wet. Having heard that she should head to the dorms for warmth. 'Come on, what a pain.' "Louis summer 307" He had grabbed the dorm key that he had and threw it in the direction of Louis.

Knowing how dire the situation Harrison knew that he had to do something. While he was not a nice person he wasn't totally heartless to just leave someone there. 'Tcsk. Well I guess this is partly my fault." Since this was 100% his fault he had decided to help. He had concentrated his power fully and completly to himself, Leo and this girl. With his eyes and hair turning red Harrison had teleported the three of them towards his dorm. His dorm was still quite the way so it had taken a couple of teleported with roughly 2 seconds in between jumps. Halfway to the dorm he had felt himself break his limit, there was going to be conciquences soon but he had gained a small boost in power allowing him go teleported at a slightly quicker rate. Finally taking the last jump into the bathroom of the dorm he had used his power to turn the knob and dispense hot water. "Dang, 45 seconds. This is my dorm sorry but please deal with here something I have to do." Standing in front of Leo with blazing red hair and eyes that glow he had talked to him. One of the currently known side effects is power overload which could destroy the dorm so he had to get a good distance in case that had happened. "Ack." As he teleported away he had felt that the limit end was closing and should hurry off hoping Leo would deal with whatever. 'Why did she have to fall' Anger being his current strongest emotion red was the colour.

Wow, this is really cold water. Pepper thought half in shock. Her arm felt like it was about to fall off from the cold and Louis holding onto it. Leo She heard her brother call for the prefect and was snapped back to her senses. No! Please! Not Leo! She wanted to yell, but her voice was hoarse from breathing so hard. She felt the momentum of Leo’s flight pick her out of the water like and set her down on the ice. “No, don’t let me ruin your fun.” She mumbled exhausted through chattering teeth, feeling so helpless and useless. The water soaked her clothes all the way to her scarf and her muscles felt like rubber after being so stiff. At this point, the coldness had gotten to her and she started to get tired. A little rest won’t hurt, right? Before she had time to think about anything that was going on, Harrison had teleported her and Leo to his dorm.

Louis was so relieved Leo had wings and was near by, able to help. It was hard enough trying to pull someone out of a hole, much less on skates and a patch of thin ice. He skated over to Leo and Pepper, a smile of panicked relief on his face. He truly wanted to punch that kid and would’ve done it, if the other boy hadn’t teleported the three of them away so fast. Dammit! He slammed a skate of the ice, pissed off but then realized he wasn’t alone. He looked behind him towards Aleta, unknowing of what to say. All he wanted was to be by Pepper’s side.

Honestly, he had not expected to be teleported away from the lake. It was a pretty dizzying experience for certain. The blond found himself rocking on his feet every time they jumped. As if trying to keep upright. Pepper in his arms was not any help to his balance issues. Thankfully, the teleport ended fairly soon. If it had continued any longer, the prefect was sure he was going to hurl. His blue eyes opened carefully to see a dorm bathroom. He didn't recognize it as his own, and it was Harrison who teleported them. So it led the prefect to believe that it was the white haired boy's room.

Leo paused. Well. He thought that Harrison had white hair. But it was red. His eyes were red. He blinked very hard, as if maybe it was a halocination from the teleporting. But it wasn't. Leo opened his mouth to ask, but closed it soon after Harrison disappeared once more. His eyes narrowed after where he had been standing. Legs still unsteady, he looked down at them, a confused look replacing his frustrated appearance. Oh. That was why. Harrison had teleported him from the lake, and he had not taken off his skates.

The prefect did not want to cut scores into the floor of the bathroom, so he slowly went to his knees. Skates carefully lifting from the ground to not scrape them. As soon as his weight was on his knees, Pepper was lowered onto the ground. He hesitated for a moment before untying her skates and gently removing them from her feet. Soon after, he peeled her wet scarf from her shoulders. Then the soggy winter coat. That was where the prefect stopped, not wanting to intrude any farther. "Pepper." He spoke lightly, beginning to remove his own skates. "You need to get into the bath. I promise it is warm."

That would have sold Leo right there had he had just fallen into a frozen lake. Warmth would be everything at that moment. Another pair of skates were placed to the side, and he held out a hand for the girl to take.

Aleta stared dumbfounded in their direction. One moment she had been ready to take off across the lake with her brother in toe. The next she was staring after the space where her brother, Pepper and Harrison had been. A grumpy look crossed her face. It looked like her joyful reunion with the ice was ended early. Grumbling under her breath about weak ice and angel brothers, she slowed to a stop near her brother's winter coat. Which she picked up and threw around her own shoulders, too lazy to carry it normally. "What dorm did he say?" Aleta asked, beginning to skate back to shore to put her regular shoes back on.

Since Harrison knew about the limits of his gift, he knew that there wouldn't be a lot of time before his side effect happens. Since one of the side effects was power overload, he knew that he couldn't stay in the dorm or else there's a chance of that getting destroyed. Adrenaline pumping through him he had gotten out of the dorm and had headed towards the forest, a probably safe location for his side effects to take place. Having landed somewhere in the forest, he had looked around for anyone nearby and had seen no one was there. "If you can hear my RUN!" Harrison had yelled this as loud as possible as a warning in case someone had still been there. 'DON'T RUN ACCEPT.' He had heard a voice again, a deep voice that had always talked to him whenever it got to a point like this. Thinking its nothing he minded no attention and had taken a breath. After catching his breath he had punched a nearby tree with the force of the gift behind the punch breaking the tree and slightly hurting his hand. 'ACH, why did it come to this.' Harrison had recalled most of the times he pushed himself to the limit and one of the side effects came on. With rage guiding his actions, he began to try and vent his emotion to the nearby trees launching whatever he could see at them. He had stopped trying to vent his anger and had taken another breather to look up at the sky. " 12 seconds" It was at this point that had been wasted, his gift had drained him of most of his energy and the rage was still in his mind. '5... 4... 3...' His side effect had caused him faint, making him fall down on his left arm.

After waking up Harrison had immediately realized that there was something wrong with his surroundings. He had woken up in the middle of a forest with his jacket and socks on.'What the? This is? Beata?' He had seen through the trees what had looked like Beata Academy. Having that as his only reference point and him being cold since he only had socks on, he had decided to head towards Beata. Feeling a bit unstable he had used his gift to lift his body up head first and fly into Beata. This had worked only for about 3 seconds until he had fell and had hit the ground, releasing all the pent up stress he had. Having felt a massive surge of exhaustion he had decided to lie down next to the snow until he could deal with the pain. 'What the hell happened' He had gotten up from the snow and had headed once more towards Beata, without his gift.

Pepper wanted to barf as they were teleported to Harrison's dorm. For some reason, having dragon blood made it easy for her to get motion sick, and she had no clue why. The girl was still freezing cold, barley able to move from the stiffness in her muscles. Pepper's jacket and scarf were taken off and she sat against a wall, looking at the ground. She didn't want to move, it felt so amazing to just sit. Pepper looked up at Leo, water dripping from her pony tail. She looked him in the eye, seeing his hesitation before asking her to get in a bath. "Okay." She said hoarsely from swallowing so much cold water and took his hand.

He thought for a moment. "Summer 307 I think. Lets get going, shall we?" The student said seriously, trying to hide his anger. Louis would go see his sister, no matter how far he had to walk.
