Discovering Barry's Weapon of Choice [OPEN]

A slight smirk appeared on Destiny's face. "What you're giving up that easily?" The necromancer moved her scythe away from the boy side and twirled it up into a standing position. "Think of you weapon as an extension of you. Each weapon has a certain why it an move, just like a person does. Learn that and as well.." The girl picked up her weapon in both hands quickly, and swung it at Barry's neck, stopping just short of touching it. "Never let your guard down, and look for an opening. Come on let's try again." The girl brought her scythe back to her, then walked a bit of a distance away. "This time you can use a little bit of you speed. Seeing how I'm used to my weapon, having some speed might give you some assistance." She said. She still wasn't going to use any of her power unless he wanted his life force drained or wanted to deal with multiple opponent.

Barry smiled and took Destiny's advice to heart. He nodded, bringing his arms up into a fighting stance. He brought his right arm down towards Destiny's head to distract her while his left arm would jab her stomach.

It was an easy attack to see but a good attempt. The necromancer put her scythe out of in front of her. The top of the blade stopped the over head strike, and the slight rotation she put into it, set the other stick off course a little bit, but just enough for it to go by her. She wasn't going to counter right now. She decided to wait for a better opening.

Barry stumbled forward a bit when his arm went past Destiny's side but quickly recovered and backed up a bit to get his bearings back. He sped around to be at Destiny's side, quickly jabbing her left.

Destiny quickly let go of her scythe from her right hand leaving it in her left hand allowing the scythe to swing down the pole knocking the stick up and away from her side. Still she did not attack, she just backed up a bit.

Barry quickly recovered from that and sped towards Destiny, bringing both sticks down towards her scythe with as much strength and momentum as he could. Maybe if he could knock it out of her hand, he could quickly jab her.

The girl, instead of blocking it, just danced out of the way, and twirled her scythe while doing so. After moving out of the way, she swung her scythe around so it would have caught Barry's back if he didn't move or block or anything.

Barry saw Destiny move out of the way and swing her scythe at his back. Instinctively, he fell onto his stomach to avoid the blow. He got up after the scythe had passed over him and swung his sticks toward either side of Destiny's middle.

The girl backed up out of the way, her teeth clenched slightly in response. She had barely gotten out of that one. She needed to be more careful, but she didn't have any extra hands to help her at the moment like she normally did. After she backed up she twirled her scythe in her hands, changing between hands as it spun. She needed to wait for another opening. She needed to play this smart, he had speed on his side, she had experience on hers.. So waiting was the best option.

Barry gave a small smile because he knew that he had almost gotten her. He pulled his arms back and began looking for a way to get passed the spinning scythe. He twirled one of the Escrima Sticks in his hand, getting ready for an attack. He sped around behind her and swung at her back, hoping to at least graze it.

Shit he was fast. She wasn't exactly being strict on his speed usage either.. Her intention was for him to use his speed slightly to have quicker swings. But now.. it just seemed like he was going all out with his gift.. The girl quickly spun around keeping her scythe spinning which knocked away the stick. She backed up a couple steps keeping some distance. She wouldn't attack just yet.. She needed to wait.. She needed to have patience.

Off to the side the door opened revealing a skeleton moving on it's own. Destiny notice this and quickly shouted at it. "Not now Juan! This is weapons only on my part." As much as she would like the assistance it wouldn't be fair to Barry.. even though it was kind of unfair for her.

Barry looked to the opened door and noticed a skeleton standing on its own. "What the Hell is that?" he asked, completely forgetting about the fight.

Destiny lowered her defensive stance once Barry slightly freaked out over the skeleton. "That's a skeleton. His name is Juan. He is my skeleton." The necromancer explained. The girl twirled her scythe back into a standing position, the bottom of it resting on the ground, the spring only holding onto it with one hand.

"You just happen to have a skeleton hanging around?" he asked, not taking his eyes off of Juan. He guessed it must've been part of her Necromancy. That fact didn't stop him from getting freaked out, though. "Okay, I have to admit, that's freakin' sweet!"

Destiny nodded. "I have had Juan since I was a young girl. He comes with me where ever I go. Granted sometimes he is a pile of bones." The necromancer couldn't help but be a little embarrassed when Barry said having a skeleton was cool. "Yeah. I guess so."

Juan was studying Barry for the moment. After doing at the skeleton shifted a tiny bit, and gave the boy a wave as a greeting seeing how he couldn't talk. After doing so, he walked over to Destiny and took the girls scythe, and started twirling it around like the necromancer had done earlier.
