Jason frowned, glaring down at the map in his hands and standing in the middle of the forest. Someone had found the map in a dusty, old section of the library and he - being the amazing man that he was, thought he could figure it out and find the source of the strange marker on the paper; but it wasn't as easy as he thought it'd be and no, Jace wasn't about to stop and ask for directions. "Alright, so I think we go this way...?" The young man said slowly and pointing in a random direction, "Or... This way...?" He pointed behind him. What? He scratched his head, clearly confused.

A lone girl sat upon a rock on the forest path. The rock was a smooth, large boulder that proved to be a nice place to recline on. Her feet swung off the edge, and her back was pressed against the stone. She examined the tall trees obscuring the sky, and took a bit of a sandwich that had found it's way into her hand. The rock was a place to eat lunch for her. It was her own, and she had made it her own. Despite it being near the path, no one bothered her.
Colette brushed a curl of white blonde hair that had found it's way over one of her blue eyes. She closed it peevishly, taking her hair in a finger and brushing it behind her ear. Birds tweeted in the distance, and a wind ruffled the leaves both above and below her. Everything was simply...peaceful. A thin trace of blood trailed down her eye from a long gone power surge. She was fine now, and was surprisingly happier than usual. She let out an audible, blissful sigh.

While Jace stood staring puzzled at the map, another young man stood nearby, not very amused by the autumn insisting on finding the right direction. He had read about maps, learned about them in school too - they really weren't that complicated. The black-haired boy had offered to take the map from him and try to find the right direction, but Jason seemed keen on not letting the paper beat him.
And so, Ethan sighed and leaned back on his good leg - getting a bit irritated, both with Jace's confusion - and he really was curious about what the map marked. He wasn't very fond of waiting for answers. He paused, though, thinking he heard a strange noise out of the clearing and turning around - giving Kimply and Jason a curious look. "Did you hear something?"

Turning her head, Marie noticed that she wasn't exactly alone in the woods. Two familiar faces where spotted through the thickets. She pondered whether she should even say a word, they certainly had to have heard of her. Everyone she had met so far seemed to avoid her at all costs. Marie sighed, pulling up the rubber of her boots and continuing to trek silently on the adjacent path.

Colette sat up dazedly, pulling her skirt down with an irked expression and letting her hair fall messily over her head. What time was it? She had lost track of it and had a sharp paranoia that school had passed her by. However, as she heard voices, she relaxed. She couldn't have been out there for more than ten minutes.
Though, she realized voices meant people, and people meant interruptions. How she longed to get a chance to be alone, though this didn't seem like that said chance. She sat up on the rock, feet still stretched over the side, and watched to see if someone would appear through the foliage.

As Marie trekked along, silently praying to avoid any human interaction, she was floored when she brushed away a thicket and a girl was perched upon a rock. Marie froze, making eye contact with the girl, hair strewn across her face in a casual fashion.

Now that they had made eye contact, Marie couldn't just run away. However, she could make the girl run away. A voice inside of Marie told her that torturing this girl for her own benefit with her ability was wrong, so she tried to restrain herself. Shyly, Marie walks through the thicket and waves.
