The Crafter's Arrival (Open)

Zane walked upon the gates on a bright day, didn't seem like the school seemed like a neat place from the entrance. At least as far as he could tell for right now. The weather wasn't upsetting as the sun shined brightly but there were a few clouds here and there in the sky. He walked past the gate and took his steps into the area in front of the academy main building, where he found a few student around him already. Apparently the entrance was a kind of hangout for some of the students throughout the day until they had to return to their dorms most likely. He was probably the newest student present as he had barely any idea on where to go, and it showed in his face as he showed a confused and lost look trying to figure things out. This place was definitely amazing as he found every part of it crafted wonderfully, although he could make his own touches if allowed to make it even better than now.

He was lost in a wonderful unknown maze that he may be stuck in for quite awhile if he didn't get some form of assistance at this point. Zane didn't continue forward as getting further lost than the beginning could cause quite a few problems and this was a pretty big place. If the gate wasn't obvious as the start, he probably would already be lost.

A brown haired, young man, carrying a backpack, passed by the new student. His grey eyes flickered as he paused mid-step a few feet in front of the lost looking student. Shin put on an empathetic look. He also got lost a lot when he first came to Beata. But thanks to experience and a little bit of help, he had the classroom campus figured inside out.

"Hey, You seem lost. Need help?" Shin slowly spun onto his heels so he was facing Zane. Remembering that he had a map of Beata, the boy pulled off his backpack and started digging though all the binders and folders. Oh, where did he put his folder?

Everything seemed to be hopeless until a much more experienced student passed him by and stopped in front of him, moving a way to face him directly. He was a brown haired individual with grey eyes, which was definitely not a common thing in the entire world, but he would make no comment as the student asked if he needed help since he seemed kind of lost to him. This guy didn't know that he hit the bulls-eye yet, as he was about to speak to him. "I am indeed lost, and would appreciated some help." He told him, sort of scratching his head as the student started digging into his backpack looking for something that would probably help him in finding his way around here.

"By the way, I'm Zane. Zane Fenrir." He told the kind student.

Perhaps this day was much better than it appeared and would be much more exciting. This was only his start and he was kind of jumping to conclusions, but he couldn't see any disappointments coming so soon to his start. The possibility was too low or too little for him to really see it anyway right? So, Zane just went with the flow of this school and it's students and allow this one to help him around in the start.

Shin looked up at the other student. Who said 'Indeed' any more? Pushing that thought away, he returned to flipping through folders. After what felt like a long few moments, the boy he was trying to help spoke again, and putting on a kind face, Shin replied kindly.

"I'm Shin Townes."

Still digging into his bag, pulling out a few scrolls every now and again, they boy found what he was looking for. A grey plastic folder with the usual three prong in the middle, and side pockets. On the front it was labeled 'Beata Academy Information' In black sharpie. Shin had created the folder for things like the map, schedule, and other information he may need. He flipped though the pages with ease, and he whisked out a white piece of paper. And on that sheet was a map of Beata. A few things were highlighted already. The first one was the Initiates dorms. The next one was the library and the first few classes.

"Here, I got this the first day. I know my way around, so I won't need it." Shin laughed holding out the neat paper to Zane.

So the person that was helping him out was called Shin Townes, and he was indeed a very kind person as he was willing to give up his map to help some like Zane that was lost. But the kicker was that normally a person would of allowed him to go on his way, this made Shin unique, he didn't sit back and observe someone's problem and walk along, no he helped him.

"Thank you." He told Shin as he received the map from him and reach out to get it from his hands.

As he got it, he took note of the various things on it. The important places at the moment seemed to be highlighted, and the first place he laid his eyes on were the dorms that everyone who just started stay in. It was a place he wouldn't need to memorize so he also took note of the other things highlighted like the library and some of the classrooms within the academy. After Zane, was done looking, he put his stuff down and put the map in a safe place with other various important papers that he had with him that were from or for this school.

Next he picked his stuff up and looked at Shin as he asked him something.

"So where are you heading?" He would ask him.

Perhaps, he could join Shin in going to where ever, he was already heading before he decided to assist Zane in finding his way.

If it was somewhere he could tag along and explore this place a bit then he would proceed to ask his second question.

"Could I follow you there?" He would tell Shin.

Shin nodded and let the paper be taken from his fingers. Tilting his head down, the brown haired boy started to pack his bag back up. Slipping papers back into their correct folders. Soon enough, packing those away as well. As he worked, he talked to Zane, only looking up if he was speaking to the other boy.

When Zane asked his first question, Shin blinked. Why would he want to know that? Wondering, he spoke, "Actually, um, I was going to the library." He laughed nervously. Felling slightly selfconscious.

It was when Zane asked the next question that he finally understood why he had asked the first question. Zipping up his back with three yanks, the grey eyed boy nodded kindly. "Sure! Why not?"
