Never give a speedster a Red Bull

Barry was relaxing in his dorm, playing his old 3DS when he heard the door to the dorm open and close. "Hey!" he yelled to one of his dorm mates absentmindedly, he then immediately went back to playing his favorite childhood game, Pokemon Omega Ruby.

Magic hadn't hung out with Barry in a while and decided to do so. Mason had been hanging out with all of these girls and needed some dude time, or whatever that was called. He just wanted to hang out with a guy for once. Once he found the right door, he knocked on it.

Barry looked up at the knock on his door. He shut off his game and got up to get the door. He opened it and saw Magic. "Hey. What's up?" he asked, motioning for him to come out to the main area where they all hung out in outside of their bedrooms. He walked over to the fridge and opened the door. "You want anything to drink? There's only Red Bull, though." he said, grabbing one as he waited on Magic's answer."

Magic walked into the room, and just stood around as Barry went to get something to drink. "Nah I'm good." He didn't really need it anyway. He kind of got his own natural energy.

"Alrighty." he said, closing the refrigerator door and opening the drink. He took a sip and his eyes widened. He'd never had an energy drink before, and he was about to find out why, as he chugged the whole thing. At first he felt fine, but then he began to shake. Not like the normal sugar rush shake, but his whole body was vibrating. He looked over at Magic. "I'mnotsurewhat'shappeningbutitfeelsgreatIfeellikeIcouldrunforeverdoyouwannarunwithme?" He said very fast. He started zooming throughout the room like a crazed maniac, wind moving anything light that wasn't held down by something.

What have they done? Why would they stock a fridge with red bull when there was already a guy that acted like he was a sugar high all the time that lived here. "I chose the wrong time to come over." He said to himself. For now he had to deal with Barry and this weird thing that was going on. "No I don't want to run with you... Maybe it would be good if we sat down, and relaxed." He said trying to get Barry to calm down.

"I'mnotsureIcanImeandoesitlooklikeIcanslowdown?" he replied. He tried slowing down, and it worked, but his body kept vibrating and his thoughts and speech would not slow down. He tried sitting down but his body kept vibrating through it. "That'sweirdIdidn'tknowIcoulddothismaybeIshouldhaveaRedBullmoreoften."

"No... Barry no.. You don't need Red Bull more often. In fact you don't need it at all." Magic was really concerned for Barry but couldn't help smile at the fact of how Barry was reacting to all of this.

Barry had stood up to stop vibrating through the couch. "Maybeyou'rerightIthiscouldbeahugeproblem." he said, rushing into his room and brought out the whole box of granola bars, setting them down in the table. "I'mpreparimgforthehugecrashthat'sabouttohappenmymetabolsismsuckssomuchandIwishitwouldslowdown."

Honestly this whole thing was a bit weird but Magic didn't expect any less from Barry having seen what he acted like before. It was kind of hard to understand him at first but he managed to slow down the sound waves from Barry's voice to be able to understand what he said once it reached his ears. "Thats good. At least you are prepared."

Barry's body began to slow down slowly and eventually everything stopped. He took a sigh of relief and went to grab a granola bar but before he could he collapsed to ground like a ragdoll and passed out from lack of food. His body couldn't handle that much motion without constant food yet.

Magic blinked when Barry fell to the ground after he had managed to slow down. "Huh.. Well that was fast.. Don't know what to do about this though..." He said puzzled. He couldn't make the boy eat anything. Hell he read somewhere that sound can make people breath and stuff but he wasn't to sure about that. Not even sure if he could do it. He didn't know what to do honestly.

Barry continued to lay there in a helpless heap, now completely unaware of anything going on. His body may have been in uncomfortable, but he wouldn't notice. His mind was barely functioning. It had no idea what was going on.

With a sigh, Magic realized Barry wouldn't be getting up anytime soon. Carfully Mason picked up the younger boy. He was surprisingly light for Mason to carry. If it was anyone else that had to carry him they would most likely falter and hurt both of them. Though it wasn't the most graceful way to carry a person Mason found it easier to move if Barry was over his shoulder. Carefully Magic made his way to the infirmary.

Barry barely registered that he had been picked up by Magic and was being carried to somewhere.
