After entering the portal, you find yourself standing on a sandy beach. Ahead of you is a dense jungle and an ancient staircase that leads up a steep hill. The screeching of alien, monstrous creatures ring through the trees, and you can feel dozens of eyes watching you from the shadows.

There is an abandoned temple at the summit of the staircase. Inside, on top of a cracked marble altar, rests an Easter egg on a velvet cushion.

A great basilisk coils itself around the altar, but that isn't the only danger around...

The student who returns to the beach with the egg uncontested will win the Hunt. Their reward will be listed in the official announcement. You will only be permitted to return through the Portal with the egg once you have defeated your fellow students and any monsters chasing you.

No battle system for the monsters. As for your fellow students, that's for you to decide.

If the topic dies before a clear conclusion is reached, then the last student to post will be named the victor.

Keirsta sighed. She knew she'd get stuck doing this, after all... She had failed to get another egg. Evidently, a lot of other students had, too. Scratching the back of her neck, she rolled it around before looking around the beach. As far as she knew, there weren't any other students around her. The sand felt odd at her feet, and seeing that she still had her bag on her back, she threw off her shoes and put them in there. For now, at least. Looking ahead of her, the land seemed to steep downwards. For all she knew, she was given a brief synopsis of where she had to go to get the egg... And she sure as hell would get it.

Cracking her knuckles, and deciding not to stall any longer, seeing as the sand underneath her feet was getting rather hot, she decided to go on. But the feeling of eyes burning into her skin made her a little nervous... Sighing, she looked around and made sure the coast was clear before walking down the path.

Well, not a path, exactly... It was more like a route. She had no clue where this egg was exactly, just that it was in some temple below the ground at the end of some staircase. In the jungle... Of course.

Jesus Christ, it was hot. It was supposed to be mid Spring, not July in the depths of hell! Where on earth was this island anyway? Was this even Earth?

Needless to say, Amelia was sweating an ocean on the scorching sand beach at the edge of the island. Luckily, her long blonde hair was reflecting most of the intense heat and protecting her skin from sunburn. After a quick glance at her surroundings, the tiny student deducted that no one was nearby; if anyone was, the only place they could be was somewhere in the jungle just ten meters away. The Autumn approached, eager to escape the unforgiving sun.

The dark shadows of the trees were a stark contrast in lighting, but not much in the aspects of humidity. Strange, alien sounds could be heard from the depths of the forest, some oddly alluring. Amelia grudgingly decided that that was the way to the hidden egg, through the thick of the jungle. She took a granola bar out of her small pack and began to slowly make her way towards this "temple" they were told of.

Keirsta seemed to be slightly startled by the noise of what seemed to be another student arriving. That couldn't mean good.

Having decided that it would be best to continue on quickly, and that any allyship would be pointless, her light pace started to quicken into a bit of a jog. She wanted to get away from people as fast as she could, in all honesty. Why the hell would they use this as a tiebreaker? The thought seemed to float into her mind as she continued to jog away, looking around for any signs of monsters.

The eerie feeling of eyes burning into her skin didn't make her nerves any better, though. Biting into her lip even more so, the jacket she had taken to wearing was shed and put into her bag. The moisture within the foresty-jungle would be bound to give them the sweats, right? She had just about tripped at the noise of one of the monsters screeching, the surprise surely throwing her off.

After a moment of her heart nearly exploding out of her chest, she tried to move as fast as she could towards that forest. God knew she'd get into some deep shit soon.
