Relaxing [Closed]

"You will," he said, and at seeing her eyes look down to the floor, snapped. "Hey, hey, look. You will. Everything is conquerable." Whether he meant it or not, he did not know. He was facing his own problems, but didn't want to mention them. He hated them, hated speaking of them. It was like breaking the news to himself every time. "Here." The boy reached over the gap between the couch and the table in front of it, almost falling as he levied himself and grabbed hold of a notepad. He ripped out a piece of paper, crumbling it up in a ball and subsequently shooting it at her. "Heads up."

She knew that eventually she would eventually be able to control it, but she wanted to control it now.. She wanted to be able to feel things with her hands again.. She wanted to be able to hold pencils and pens in her hands again. She looked up just in time to see a paper ball thrown at her. Since she was left handed the girl caught it in her left hand, which was her hand that was covered. "What was that for?" She asked.

His didn't answer, however. With another flick of the wrist, he threw another ball at her, giving another low, "Heads up," now that her good hand was filled. He kept doing this, throwing small paper balls in her direction, using up the notepad carelessly. All the while, he held a goofy grin.

Sophia dropped the paper ball from one hand, and used both to catch the other. It quickly turned into dust from touching her bare right hand. She couldn't really do anything to stop the on slot of paper balls. "H-hey! You are wasting paper!" She only hoped he hadn't torn out any thing important from the note book. She couldn't catch all of them, and if they touched her right hand they turned to dust. There was one that turned to dust before it even reached her hand, but she was too busy blocking the balls from hitting her head to notice.

"Come on," he said, ignoring her, flinging more paper balls despite her protest. "Kill them before they hit the ground." It obviously seemed impossible due to the amount he threw, but he wanted her to try. It seemed cool how she could obliterate them through deflection. Might as well use that to have fun.

Both hands went up near her head to protect her from the paper ball attacks. Both hands were open, and their palms facing outward, by now the other glove had disintegrated, so both hands were bare. Now there was nothing to stop the hands from disintegrating everything they came in contact with except, if you looked closely the paper balls were turning to dust before they even touched her hands, but it wasn't a great distance though. "S-stop!"" She said once again. Cracks were starting to form at her finger tips from over use of her gift.
