About the Memorial

A small worn detour from the town and through the forest leads to a small building; humble with a red tiled roof and stained glass. It's always left open for anyone who wants to step in. Inside are several old pictures, letters, tokens, gifts, and flowers long dried out; as well as incense and candles that could be lit for honor - or if someone wanted to say a prayer.
Hung on the wall is an old slab of flat stone with the words carefully engraved in;

'Dedicated to those who had their own lives, with each of their own stories,
who had so much yet to live for and were stolen far too early;
forever in our hearts and in our memory.'
