Katsuo was sitting in the courtyard, alone on a bench under a tree. It was getting late, but not nearly time to go inside yet. Still had around two...three hours or so. So he decided to come out here while it was quiet but still a little bright out to read in peace, away from the drama and complications of school and its students. For once, Aiko had declined coming with him. Normally around this time, she was bored with nothing to do but play with Kaoru(her rabbit), so when he told her he was going to go look around the school, she was happy to come and maybe meet some people while Katsuo read a book nearby. This time, however, she had seemed busy. Well, whatever. He was happy just reading a good book or studying so classes would be easier in the morning.
But tonight he was not alone. Someone had been looking for him tonight. Why? Katsuo would find out soon enough.
