Brief Description of Gifts: Mera and her sister, despite being twins, exhibit completely different abilities. Mera has powers similar to mind control, but they can only be activated through the spoken word -- a gift she likes to call "persuasion", or, "charmspeaking." She can convince others to do or even believe things that they wouldn't normally, and she can temporarily hypnotize certain individuals. If the person she is speaking to does not understand what she is saying, she will not be able to use her powers effectively, rendering her basically useless. . . which is why she is actively attempting to learn other languages. It is much more difficult to convince those with high willpower and intelligence. Her power is rendered null if she cannot speak or the target cannot hear.
