Night Owl

The silence of the moonlight-illuminated forest was regularly broken by the sound of rustling leaves and the scratching of wood. Perched on one of the lower branches of a tree was Kenelm, who had finally settled, letting silence return to the forest for the time being. He didn't have much reason for being out in the forest in the middle of the night other than being restless. Hell, he didn't even care for any vodka at the present time. It was as simple as not wanting to sleep. He sure as hell wasn't going to stay in his dorm, so why not go somewhere he preferred a bit more? Despite it being unlikely anyone would see him (and not caring if anyone did) he still threw on his shorts, vest, and serafuku. Maybe it'd be cold or something.

Kenelm froze as the silence in the forest was broken again. So much for having the damn forest to himself for the night. The howling indicated that there was a wolf around. The crunching of leaves indicated that it was on the move. Fucking great. For now, he decided to stay where he was and just stay still in general. Probably would be best that the goddamn wolf didn't get the jump on him. But when it got too close to the tree he was perched in... then he would make he presence known.

So it isn't a real fucking wolf. Both because it didn't stay a wolf and because it was apparently a total dumbass. Snickering broke out from above as he jumped out of the tree he was in, landing near Yuki and grinning at her. "How does it feel knowing a rabbit is smarter than your dumb ass?" Kenelm continued to snicker after he spoke, clearly very amused by the incident.

Kenelm eyed the bruise on Yuki's cheek, continuing to wear a shit-eating grin on his face. "I don't think rabbits like playing with wolves. They usually kill the fuckers, you know." Kenelm casually crossed his arms and shifted his weight, his bare foot sinking ever so slightly into the grass. Not knowing what else to say, he took notice of the fact that the girl before him wasn't naked despite having just switched between being three different animals. "You keep your clothes up your ass when you're an animal or some shit? That's disappointing."

Kenelm gritted his teeth, getting increasingly pissed off as Yuki continued to laugh at him. Who did this bitch think she was? However, he cooled down at least a little bit when he heard her comment about how late it was and how there were monsters in the woods. "Huh, I didn't know the Headmaster knew I roamed around here. Does he know about all of my vodka now too?" He quickly climbed back up the tree he was previously perched in, hopping back down a moment later with a three-quarters full bottle of vodka in hand. Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to start drinking now, but being sober was boring, and with something going on maybe being a little intoxicated wouldn't be.

"What the fuck bitch? I was going to drink that for fuck's sake!" Kenelm completely ignored the girl's words, not exactly caring about what the fuck that dumb fucking bitch was saying. He couldn't afford to waste vodka. He wasn't paying for any of it, but it wasn't terribly easy to steal vodka from Rosebury's little general store time and time again. But now he'd need to do that because he just lost almost an entire bottle of it. Kenelm looked back at the girl who had just destroyed his poor, innocent, defenseless vodka. Seething with rage, he flung his jagdkommando at her haphazardly. Under normal circumstances it probably would have hit, but he was too angry to throw it very effectively and it harmlessly landed on the ground behind Yuki and to the side without her even needing to move a muscle.

Kenelm only grew more enraged by how poor his throw was followed by Yuki picking the weapon up and pocketing it. "Fucking give it back! Give it back! It's mine!" He stomped his bare foot down in the grass somewhat underwhelmingly, both of his hands clenched into fists. What the hell was this bitch's problem? First she smashed his vodka and now she took one of the only possessions he had! Just how much of a twisted, evil whore was she? From a combination of all the anger building up in him and a tinge of distress, tears started to well up in his eyes, which were starting to look less human and more avian. Kenelm also started to let his hands relax, if only so that the talons appearing didn't dig into him.

Kenelm quickly snatched the weapon up, holding it to his chest. However, this only calmed him down slightly. There was still the fact that she had mercilessly destroyed his vodka and was now trying to get him to go back to his dorm. Deciding it'd be smart to try and steal a replacement bottle now while it was the dead of night, Kenelm put his jagdkommando back into it's holder and started to make his way past Yuki, wiping tears from his eyes with the sleeve of his serafuku.

Kenelm stopped after a handful of steps, realizing that the girl, now a Shiba Inu, was following him. Turning on his heel, he looked down at the dog, annoyance creeping back on to his face to replace the tears that were there previously. "Why are you following me? I just want to get more damn vodka and then I'll go back to my fucking dorm, okay?" He'd grown too tired, both physically and emotionally to want to bother trying to use force to deal with the girl. For now, at least. Maybe he'd show her just how he felt in the morning when he was rested up. But for the time being, he'd be content with just getting drunk back in his dorm now, if that'd get this damn bitch off of his back.
