Joseph's arm was easily sliced off with a satisfying crunch. Blood splattered on the ground around them and Maria was now content. All she wanted was a bit of blood and gore, and her wish had come true. Although he'd most likely die from blood loss, it was wonderful seeing him wince at the pain.
Unfortunately, her victory didn't last long. Out of no where, the disfigured axe smacked her across the face. Stumbling backwards, the sword disappeared and Maria spit out some blood. It hurt like hell, but she could tell her jaw wasn't broken. Moving it around with a few popping and cracking noises, she gave a malicious grin. "Well that was fun!"
