New York City, NY

"Go, Jace. Check us in."
Lotte handed her friend the white envelope, gazing around the lobby of the hotel with awe and wonder. She had never been to New York before! Times Square glowed with life as the six students were transported to the hotel via a black limo. Oh, how she longed to explore the city and all it's nooks, but she could only stay for the length of the mission. Ethel, however, was terrified. She hid behind Lotte the whole time, staring at the overwhelming scenery.
Lotte looked at the statue of a bronze gazette centered in the room, with it's front legs upwards in what looked like a kick. Everything about this hotel was so expensive and classy looking.
Currently, they were presented with checking into the complex. Lotte was not very old looking in stature, however, and due to this, she was attempting to make Jace do it. "Go on. Just say you want a room for six or something. Charm the lady at the counter." was her encouraging words. If Jace denied, she always had Richard as a back up plan, but it would be easier to persuade the Headmaster's son.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyWed Jul 31, 2013 10:56 pm

Richard had been to New York City only a couple of times in his life, usually from traveling to see family in the south. Being from Maine, Interstate 95 was really the only option and his family had taken a short vacation in the city once or twice. Times Square he hated. It was way too busy and filled with too many strange people, especially late at night. As the young man stepped out of the limo, he just rolled his eyes. He didn't have to volunteer for this mission. He didn't know why he did. He knew it was in the big city, but he also felt like he needed to do this. He quickly gave Lotte an interesting look as she shoved Jace towards the front desk as they walked into the hotel. He was sure they wouldn't have to charm the lady, especially since they were given money for a one-night stay here, but whatever. The only thing Richard could do was smile and cross his arms in front of him while he watched the two.

Jace took the envelope out of the girl's hands, looking down at Lotte and raising an eyebrow. "Since when are you shy?" He questioned, but shrugged anyways, eying the girl at the counter. She was young, a few years older than their group at most. And certainly pretty. Charm the lovely lady? That should be no problem. Jason cleared his throat and straighten his tie, smirking down at Lotte. "Alright, one moment." He ran a few fingers through his hair and glanced in a nearby mirror for a moment to see if he looked alright before striding up to the counter, leaning against it casually until he had the receptionist's attention.
It was hard to hear what they were saying. It was easy to see what was happening, though. Jace said a few things, catching her off guard. Not moments later she was blushing red and giggling behind her hand while he pushed her the envelope forward. He seemed to linger a bit after that.
Jace returned with a triumphant smile on his face and with two things; one being the key to their suite, another was her number written on the back of his hand in sharpie. "Your room~" He dangled the key in front of them.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyWed Jul 31, 2013 11:49 pm

At nine, the student group of Beata Academy arrived at the hotel and were within the state known as New York. They were prepared to stay here only for one night, which left them little time, with it already being night. But Zane was already enjoying himself with every statue and architectural object that he came by, he had a passion for seeing and creating them. His only final wish on this small trip was to get a view of the statue of liberty with his own eyes, but that was also probably out of the question with their current objective. It seemed that they were currently stuck on getting the key, and would kindly go get it, but instead Lotte was requesting that Jace did it instead. Although Jace, gave her a question in response, he still went on to talk with the front desk person and get the keys that they needed. As Zane looked around, he noted the obvious fact that there was six of them present, this task seemed dangerous, but too many people involved could either make it more safe, or ruin it completely. For now, he would just follow along with the rest of the group as they would eventually head to their room, and enjoyed the scenery known as New York City. He felt happy to have come along and kept a small smile on his face as things moved forward.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyThu Aug 01, 2013 7:35 am

While everyone else was busy checking into the hotel Adrian spent most of his time hitting on girls as they entered the hotel. It wasn't everyday that you get to visit the Big Apple. So Adrian was going to take advantage of every moment of it. Of course it didn't take long for him to get rejected... multiple times, So once he got the chance he grabbed the keys to the room and head there, in his mind he wondered if New York was as gang heavy as he heard from home, where could he buy a gun or two or even some grass.

Shrugging he just followed along with the group, he needed to at least let them know where he was going especially with the fact of if he didn't he might not get paid, and that would just be terrible. The thought of working for free caused him to shiver. There was nothing worst then coming all the way to new york for a job and not get paid. Adrian smiled as he said a dirty pickup line to one of the female employees of the hotel and received a well placed slap in the face before putting his hands in his pocket and followed the group without another word.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyThu Aug 01, 2013 10:57 am

New York. Never had he ever been there, and probably never would he ever again. But so far, to Jude, it was over crowded. He couldn't take a step without running into someone and his power had shut off so he was blind and couldn't tell where he was going. He followed the voices of the group so he would know where to go. It didn't take long for him to ram into a door, where he assumed the hotel they were staying at was. He felt for the handle and tugged it open, feeling the empty space and the cool air. Much better.

He followed the voice he recognized as Lotte and Jace, managing to not bump into anyone while he approached them. It was silent for a second, and then Jace spoke up allowing Jude to assume that he had done as Lotte had asked. They had a room. There came a loud noise from behind Jude that sounded very much like a slap. "Adrian, you should probably keep yourself to...yourself for this trip."

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyThu Aug 01, 2013 12:18 pm

Lotte narrowed her eyes, snatching the key from Jace. "You're a moron." she stated matter-of-factually, making her way to the elevator that would lead them to their suite. She read the key's inscription, which was carved into the golden metal and traced with a black ink of sorts. Floor 15, Room 1503.
The building had 18 floors, so they were 3 floors under the penthouse suite. She pressed the little button next to the elevator that had an upwards arrow inscribed onto it, and it immediately lit up, becoming warm under her finger. She was actually pretty curious about how the room looked.
"I don't like it here, Milady."
"Why not? I thought you'd love it!"
"It's too noisy; too bright."
"Relax. We'll be in our room soon."
"Very well..."
Ethel slipped her hand into Lotte's, nervously looking around the lobby at the numerous rich people of New York City. How she wished to be back in South Dakota! Though she preferred this over the deserts of Texas and the snow capped mountains of Nepal, it wasn't a treat and made her nervous.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyThu Aug 01, 2013 9:53 pm

Richard still hadn't really said anything by the time the group made it to the elevator. He had simply rolled his eyes when Jace actually took the time to flirt with the desk manager rather than just ask for the key. But whatever. They were on their way to the room and Richard was kind of excited. He always enjoyed the hotels in New York. That was about it, actually. They were usually pretty nice, at least hotels so close to Times Square, but who knew. Maybe things had changed since the last time he was here. But really, he just had questions. He had read about the mission, but he still wasn't too clear on it. Although at this point, he just assumed it would be best to ask questions once they got to the room. It would be a little safer and definitely more private.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyFri Aug 02, 2013 7:48 pm

Jace's triumphant little smile wavered as she snatched the key out of his hands, shrinking away a little from her glare as she moved on. "What?" He called after Lotte, clearly a bit confused by her reaction. He looked to Richard for an answer, then to Jude... Zane... Adrian? Really. "What'd I do?" The young man sighed, giving up on that and stuffing his hands in his pockets as he waited with the rest of them for the elevator. He couldn't help but shoot the autumn girl a curious look. You'd think, since they weren't at home and out in public, she'd be more careful of her conversations with Ethel - but he didn't think it was worth mentioning. "So, where are we supposed to find this guy again?" Jace muttered, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand and grabbing his things with the other. He stepped inside the elevator when it arrived and pushed the button for the 15th floor. Though he seemed rather bored, he was actually pretty excited about this. Killing things in the big city~ Hopefully, this time, he wouldn't be shot. Then again... New York...

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyFri Aug 02, 2013 9:38 pm

Although Zane really didn't notice Jace's flirting with the desk manager, he did however catch Adrian getting slapped, he laughed a little at this. He knew they had quite a unique group as they were from the many different houses of the school. Zane being from Summer, Richard from Spring, Jace & Lotte from Autumn. However Winter was missing and the last two were not assigned as of yet. Actually that was the most interesting note to two new students going on a mission like this, if a flaw was made, this could be the end of their short school life at Beata. As they made their way towards the elevator, Zane took final looks around at the design of this place, his focus though was broken by the conversation that Lotte appeared to be having with herself to everyone else.

It seemed that Lotte took the lead of the group for the most part, and he really didn't mind it, because he felt that she would be a reasonable leader. As Jace asked about the mission, he allowed someone else to answer the question as he began to think to himself even more. He really didn't know too much about everyone, yet he was going forward with all of this so smoothly. Perhaps after this was over, they could get to know each other better. For know, they were in the same building as a mission target aka the enemy, beside what was described in the request. Nothing was really said about this mister Sullivan. Everything would eventually be crossed and if they crossed everything confidently, they should do just fine.

"Anyone feel uneased? After all, were in the same building as him." Zane stated.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyFri Aug 02, 2013 10:06 pm

Adrian laughed at Jude's comment. "Come on, we're in New york we should enjoy the place as much as possible no matter how short it is." Looking around he took notice of the others who were in the group. Save for Jude he had no idea who anyone in the group was, and unfortunately for him the group was also mostly male. Well looking at the bright side at least there really nothing to distract him during the actual mission. Sure there was one female but... He rather not do something that might get him killed in the long run. Sighing as they walked toward the hotel room Adrian took a moment to stare at every female ass that he passed on the way to the elevator.

Once they were up at the room Adrian took a seat in the first chair he was that was free. Sitting there he heard the blonde guy known as Jace ask about where exactly the guy was suppose to be. Adrian yawned slightly, he didn't care much about where the guy was. He didn't care much about where the guy was he really just cared about seeing more of the city. Then the other guy who was known as Zane asked if anyone was uneasy about the guy in the building. Adrian was the first to respond to that question. "I don't but I would like to take a moment to arm myself abit... You know pickup a few guns, knives, and.... maybe... some weed" Adrian shrugged. He didn't think anyone would actually allow him to pick up any contraband material on the mission but it was worth a shot to ask. "I mean there are more gun dealers and gang members who sell off the back of a truck in a square foot of New York than there is Catholics in Rome so I just want to make use of that." It was a horrible exaggeration but it got his point across, Adrian was somewhat unarmed at the moment and if the mission was like he heard he was going to need one or two weapons to protect himself.

"Well, we gotta finish the mission, and I don't think having fun will get anything done." Jude commented. He was business for the most part. Well, when there were things to be done, that is. Other than that, he was a fun and games kind of guy. But now was not the time, especially since Adrian might be too bruised by slaps to get anything done by the time they left.

Their group members were as much a mystery to Jude as to Adrian. He only knew the perv he had begun to call friend, and no one looked very familiar except a few he had seen before. He had never spoken to any before, so he would have to make do. He knew it wouldn't be hard, but he knew it wouldn't be easy. If that made sense.

Completely ignoring Adrian, Jude went to answer Zane's question as they made their way to the room to settle in for the short while they would be there. "I guess sort of. But we're supposed to kill him, so he won't be for long." He added the last part, wondering if this would help any. The fact that they were about to do something that Jude had never done and thought he never would made him shiver a tiny bit. He was going to kill, or help kill, someone.

The elevator opened up in front of the group. Lotte ignored Jace some more, smiling. "Let's go, guys." she said, not too loud but just loud enough as to catch the attention of the students. Lotte grasped Ethel's hand as to keep her from running in and getting crushed by people who didn't see her, and held her suitcase in her other hand. It had started to burn her hand from its weight, and placing it down for a little in the elevator would be nice.

Richard simply followed Lotte out of the elevator with his own bag. There wasn't much in it. Just enough for one night so he simply had one that was swung over his shoulder. As he stepped into the hallway where the room was, he couldn't help but look around. It still looked nice, but he didn't seem to be too fond of who he came here with, mainly because they were complete strangers to him. That was definitely part of it. "Well, the only question is where this guy is. Does anyone know? Because I've been left out of the loop with that one," he added in as everyone began talking about this man they were supposed to kill...

Kill. He wasn't exactly sure how he felt about that. Even if this guy wasn't exactly a real guy, the concept was still strange to him. He wasn't exactly sure if he could pull that part of it off, but he would try to help out as much as he could. Unfortunately, he didn't really know what he could do to pitch in. The only strength he had in this situation was he couldn't really get hit... That was about it.

The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan   The Assassination of Peter L. Sullivan EmptyWed Aug 14, 2013 6:55 pm

"Not really." He answered Zane. Jason hadn't really given much thought about the whole "killing" aspect, not like it was effecting Richard over there. It wasn't as if his parents had trained him to be a killer, but over the last few years especially, he had learned of how dangerous the world really was and it wouldn't be the first time he'd gone and done something like this. It was hard and he wasn't a stone-cold machine, but he could still sleep well at night. "I wouldn't worry too much about that," He shut his golden eyes, musing to Adrian and leaning back on the elevator rail, letting his fingers graze gently across the top of his suitcase. He figured it'd be best to be discrete when pulling in their weapons, having hid his knives and other supplies under his clothes or slit into the bag's fabric. Didn't want to advertise sharp and shiny things in a five-star hotel. "Do what you like, but I don't think they'd let you take any souvenirs home." Jace said, smirking and leaving it at that.
The young man glanced down at Lotte again, looking her over curiously. She had all this answers on what to do. Funny. The short, small girl leading a bunch of guys around.
