Tea Time!

Gabriel laughed at Erin's response. "It suits you." He joked. The Summer looked over at the tea kettle and soon after the kettle began to steam and whistle. "It's ready!" he said, walking back over to the stove, carefully picking up the kettle and setting it on the counter. He grabbed two cups and saucers and poured out two cups, sliding one over to the red headed girl. "Tada!" he said, setting the kettle down on the stove after turning the burner off. He took a sip and sighed. "Ahh... real tea."

Erin eagerly watched as Gabe finished making the tea. It was so amusing watching him get so excited over something to little... Was that how she looked on a regular basis? With a mental shrug, she continued to watch until he slid the teacup in front of her. With her own excitement, she picked up the steaming cup delicately between her fingers and blew on it for just a moment, trying to cool it down. When she figured it was good enough, she took a small sip and grinned. She felt like she was going to melt in the chair. It was so delicious. Much better than that fake crap she made in the lounge before. Placing the cup back down on the counter, she looked up at Gabe and nodded in agreement. "Mmm... This is so good, Gabe," she told him. "You really do know how to make tea."

Gabe shrugged. "It's just putting leaves in water." he said, blushing slightly at the compliment. He took another sip and set down the cup. "But thanks. I really threw those leaves in that water." he said, laughing.

She laughed with him, resting her head on her hand as the image of him ferociously tossing leaves into the kettle popped into her head. She couldn't get it out of her mind. When she finally calmed down, she took another sip of her tea before she grinned again. It was too hilarious to pass up. "You did it so well. It's like you're a professional!" she teased. "Or you really hate tea."

"You caught me," he said, snapping his fingers like swiper the fox, "Tea is my worst enemy. My only weakness." He laughed more, imagining it himself.

"Not the tea!" she cried before she broke down into giggles. "Anything but the tea!" When she finally calmed down, she shook her head and continued sipping out of her cup. It was so delicious. It was like she was back at home with her family again enjoying her time around the kitchen table before they all went outside to enjoy the sunset. It warmed her stomach and her heart. She felt very comfortable, even around Gabe who she hadn't known for very long. Even still, he felt like an old friend. That was the best part. "Thanks for making the tea," she said finally, not realizing she hadn't thanked him yet for it. It wasn't that big of a deal but when the drink was this good, she couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Gabriel laughed. "You're very welcome." he said, mocking a bow. He took another sip of the tea, finishing it off. He was really glad he and the girl could share tea together. He loved hanging out with Erin. It reminded him of home, and it lessened the homesickness.

She had lifted her cup up to take one final sip when Gabriel decided to bow. Without being able to help it, Erin laughed in the middle of drinking, sending tea all over the place: back into the cup, all on her face and it even spilled out onto her lap. Reacting quickly, she placed the cup back on the table as she looked down at her mess in surprise and a little bit of shock before she erupted into giggles, thankful that it was only tea. Anything else would have been hard to get out of her clothes. "Well..." she said. "I might need a napkin." She looked up at Gabe with pleading eyes, hoping he would get her something to try to clean up the mess.

Gabriel laughed at Erin slightly. He knew he shouldn't have, but he couldn't help it. He got up to get the girl a paper towel. He tore a couple from the roll and brought it over to her. "Here you go. Do you need any help?" he said, winking.

She couldn't help but smile among her slight embarrassment and as he grabbed the paper towels, she looked down at the damage that was done. The mess wasn't too bad: couple of drops on her shirt and a semi-large stain on the jeans of her right leg, but it could be fixed. When Gabriel walked back over and held out the napkins to her, she took them appreciatively. "No thanks," she replied as she took them. "It's not that difficult. I can get it." The flirting went right over her head as she began wiping down her pants, trying to get as much tea out of them as she could. It took a few seconds and several folds of the napkin to finally get all of it out, but she was able to do it. When she was done, she looked up at Gabe and smiled before looking back at her cup which was now empty save for a tiny ring at the bottom which was probably left from her almost choking. "Aw, it's all gone..."

"Oh. Alright then." he said, slightly disheartened. He looked at their cups, noticing that both of them were gone. "I'm all out too." He shrugged. There wasn't quite enough for another pot of tea. "And there's not enough for another pot. That's a shame." he added.

Erin pouted as she tried to think of a solution. She didn't really know what else to do. He came here for tea and now they were out. "Um..." she mumbled as she looked around before getting up and tossing the paper towels away that she had used. There had to be something... "How about a movie? Or would you even like to do something else? It's a little boring around here..." It was disappointing.

Gabe thought about it for a moment. "A movie sounds great, actually." he replied, smiling. "What do you want to watch?" Dorm rooms tended to be boring, as there wasn't much to do in them in the first place.

Erin paused as she tried to think of a movie to watch. For whatever reason, she didn't think that she'd get this far. Or maybe she thought that he would have a movie suggestion. "Um..." she said, trying to process through all of the movie titles that suddenly popped into her mind. There wasn't anything in particular she was in the mood for. "How about an old classic?" she asked, not entirely sure what her question entailed. What would be considered an old classic that she would enjoy?

Gabe shrugged. "Uhh.. sure. What did you have in mind?" he replied. He hadn't really seen any classic movies, although his parents and grandparents watched them all the time. He walked over to the couch in the living area, sitting down. "I haven't seen any 'classic' movies before, so I have no idea what's good." he told her, laughing.
