THHHHEEE FLU!

It was the attractive rumple of tissues while Wren blew her nose, that seemed to be her first impression today. In fact it had been such a first impression that Wren had actually advised- no - demanded to go to the Infirmary. Thus, there she was, opening the glass door into the infirmary. She felt out of place for some reason, probably due to the fact normally she tried to help others, not depend on their help to get better. Although it was strange, Wren walked in anyway, flicking away a strand of blonde hair from her warm forehead and letting out a muffled cough. Ugh. Flu season.

Jason sighed, sitting at the front desk of the infirmary, sorting through and organizing many different pieces of paperwork - mostly just information on all the new students coming in. With all that lovely free time he had had, he had gone to his mother and offered his help if she needed any - this boring, dull task... It wasn't exactly what he had in mind. When he heard the front door click open, his head shot up immediately, almost looking relieved for the distraction.
"Hey, Wren... Was it?" Jace put up a smile and stood up to greet her, remembering her name and face from before. "What can I do for youuuurrr-rrright. You don't look so good." His voice swung as his train of thought completely changed. Not entirely sure of what to do, or where the dear nurse had run off too, he shuffled around the desk, hastily looking for more tissues - or a mask, or something.

The infirmary was, as always, filled with clutter. Papers were scattered on the front desk, to a point where no wood could be seen. Let's just say, if Trina happened to come into the infirmary, she would faint on the spot. Though there wouldn't be a better spot to faint, considering it wa in fact an infirmary. All was quiet, so at the sound of an opening door and a sniffling nose, the head nurse stirred awake. No, she had not been sleeping on the job. And no she wasn't resting her head on a cot meant for the sick, either. And of course she hadn't left her son to do all the work. You're crazy. Miss Delangelo quickly walked to the front office, spotted the young girl and smiled softly. "Hello? May I help you? Lemme guess- flu?" The crimson gazed woman raised an eyebrow good naturedly, and appeared to be sorry for the girl.

Wren had only had a few seconds to make herself as awkward as possible, before the blonde boy- she had recognized him from before- made it into the picture. "Yes, it's Wren," She told him in a nasally tone. "I don't feel so good either." She let out a playful laugh, but it quickly turned into a coughing fit that took a few minutes to cease. Shifting around and sniffling for air, the teenager only had to wait a few seconds before being greeted by the nurse.
Wow, Wren suddenly felt insecure next to the pretty Nurse. She could see a few similarities between her and Jason and figured it was another relatives of his. "Hello, um I think so. Should you know? You are the nurse here!" Wren teased, trying to crack a joke; but it didn't work, she still felt pretty crappy.

"I bet not." Jason shot her a sympathetic look, finally tossing a stack of papers aside and grabbing a small box of tissues; he put on a smile and offered them to her. "You're in good hands." He paused as noticed a familiar face walking in from the back of the room. "... I think... You might be. Maybe." He poked fun at the nurse, "You look like you just woke up."

Melody narrowed her eyes at her son, taking a quick moment to run her fingers through her hair and a quick attempt to straighten it down. She took a step over to Wren. "I still look ten times better than you." She shot back, giving Jason a light smile.
"Alright. Jason, what do you suggest, if you think you can be more helpful?" She asked, looking over at the boy. She knew, of course, but as her new slave, she planned on teaching him a little bit. And yes, she wanted to give him a hard time. Hey, she was still Melody Delangelo, grown up or not.

"Please," Jason sniffed mockingly, a playful look gleaming in his golden eyes, "I look fabulous." He flicked the hair out his eyes with quick turn of his head, holding back a smile. He grew a little more serious again, setting the tissues down on the counter, "Erm - Well... I would suggest - ... Lots of rest? Chicken noodle soup? Full-on rights to watch Spongebob all day in bed?" He recalled the routine when he was little, shrugging. The boy had no idea. He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed lightly to hide the awkwardness in his answer.

Wren laughed out loud at Jason's interactions with... The nurse. Yet, something told her there was something more between them. A motherly instinct or possible an aunt- Wren hasn't convinced herself on either yet. Nothing creepy though, not flirty but they were definitely family.
Sniffling and letting out an awkward drawn out cough, the British girl shifted, wondering if they remembered she was still here. Yet, they did and when she heard the directions she laughed/coughed- they were so mingled together even Wren wasn't sure which she did- grinning at the mention of Sponge Bob. She wasn't quite sure on what that was... obviously an American TV show, but aside from that Wren was ashamed about not completely diving into the lazy and overweight culture. "I think th-cough-at seems fitting." She grinned back at him, but looked over at the Mrs. Nurse, making sure it wasn't a joke.
