Round 4: Hosa Corvina vs. Mason 'Magic' Stein

Its was kinda of strange to see Hosa with three heads, it kinda wanted to make Magic laug- no. Don't go back into that mind set. If he did he would only be set up for disappointment. Hosa probably didn't care for Magic now knowing he could so easily switch over to his violent mind set. No one probably cared for him now. If anyone Magic knew was watching they were getting to see who he really was. They get to see the monster that he truly was.

Hosa attacked with the same attack as last time. Mason was bettered prepared for it this time. Once again the boy jumped backwards avoiding the flame that had tried to dance at his feet. When he jumped backwards he managed to land in the fountain. He took a moment and splashed some of the water onto his burns causing them to sting a little. Instead of attack Mason just stood their waiting on Hosa to make a move once again.

Into the fountain, huh. Watching as he jumped backwards and landed in it, she paused as she attempted to catch her breath. All of the fire breathing was wearing her out - her body wasn't use to putting so much effort toward something like that. Maybe if she got some more training in she would be alright, but now it was starting to wear on her and it gave Mason enough time to splash the water on his burns that he had gotten.

Her blue eyes flickered as she readied herself to breath more fire,  He might be in water, but that wasn't going to stop this lion...Creature thing. The water could damper her fire attack she supposed, but it could also scald him and create steam - of course she was sure that Mason could use sound like a bat could so the stream would only harm her, but it was a chance she would have to take. She leaped forward, ready to steady herself in case he dodged out of the way and she crashed into the fountain, releasing the newest stream of fires - once again aiming for his feet in hopes of burning or scalding them.

Honestly this was getting boring to Mason. It was the same thing every time. He clothes were kind soaked now from being in the fountain. Instead of dodging and getting away from Hosa, he dodged her flame, and jumped onto the edge of the fountain. Circling around to her side, swinging a leg back and attempting to kick the lion goat snake thing. Whatever it was. He didn't bother with the steam, it wouldn't bother him if he lost use of his eye sight. He could hear every last noise the was around him.

As Mason jumped from the pool, Hosa braced herself as her front paws slammed against the side of the fountain, keeping herself from falling into the scalding hot water. However, the force of it knocked the air out of her as she pushed herself backwards to regain footing with all four paws, her eyes dancing around as stream swirled from the water. Where was he? A sudden bleat and hiss from her other head warned her, but it was to late.

She stumbled to the side as his foot connected to the side of her head, ringing echoing in her ears as she let out a loud hiss at him, her eyes flicking. Damn, that hurt. Even with her head aching like it was, she didn't let that stop her as she suddenly lurched forward in an attempt to bite down on his leg. However, as she did so, she let her body shift to a different form. It was time to change things up again. In a second, her body was a different one as her three heads were simply one once more, black feathers racing down her body as her wolf legs pushed her forward. She knew in a second what form she was in, and many people would see it as well. This was the form she had taken in the second round: a cynogriffion. And she knew that if she manged to bite down on Mason's leg - it would break easily under the force of her jaws.

Mason backed away as soon as he felt his foot make contact. If he stayed close for to long then it would end up bad for him. He already had enough burns as it is. As he pulled back he heard the sharp snap of a beak coming together. The tip of the beak almost getting to his leg but luckily he reacted fast enough. She must have changed to something different.. Shit..

Mason didn't move to far away, but just enough to be out of reach. His next attack would get rid of the steam cover because of the pressure in the waves, but it was worth it if he could do some damage to Hosa. Sound man opened his mouth, and let another high pitched scream clearing the affected area of steam as well.

As Mason backed up, Hosa did as well. Having missed with her bite, she wanted to stay out of range of any more kicks coming her way but of course he had decided to use sound once again. As the sound bashed against her, pain flared though her as the steam pushed past her, clearing the area and letting the two have a good look at each other. Her tail lashed as her blue eyes stared at Mason for a few moments, before darting forward with the extreme speed that Cynogriffons had.

At first she darted right past him, only to kick out with one of her back wolf paws in hopes of tripping him. Before even seeing if she had manged to kick his leg out from under him, she spun to face his back and leaping toward his back, her talons ready to dig into his skin as her beak headed toward the back of his neck - hoping to attempt a killing bite from the back.

Mason couldn't keep up with her speed, at all. Something started making his head hurt, and he didn't exactly know what. Things started flashing through his mind, and due to that he couldn't react to what Hosa was doing. The dark haired boy feel to his hands and knees. His body wouldn't react, whats going on?! Mason looked back over his should to see the dark looming shape of Hosa coming for him. "Move!" He shouted at his body, but it wouldn't. The boy's green eyes grew wide as he felt the sharp talons enter his back, in response he lot out a sharp scream that was very loud, like painful loud. The weight of Hosa pushed him all the way to the ground, causing scratches and scraps to appear on his hands and knees, as the ground broke the clothing he was wearing. Panic grew within him as he felt the tips of Hosa's beak at the sides of his neck, but that didn't stop his screaming. It wasn't until the beak got someway through his neck the it finally stopped, and the boy closed his eyes and let the darkness take him.
