Round 1: Raija Kasvin vs. Mason 'Magic' Stein

Magic stood on the glass platform with a very angry expression on his face. Of course the guy that can control sound was stuck on a platform made of glass. Though he would have to find the right frequency the glass resonates at for it to break but if he just throws sound willy nilly then they would end up with some broken spots or the whole thing shattering. More than likely the whole thing shattering because the whole thing was just one piece of glass instead of multiple.

He shuffled his feet on the glass a little testing it's sturdiness before looking up at his a opponent. Who happened to be a white haired girl. He didn't know exactly what she could do, or what would happen, but he wanted to win and if he almost sacrificed himself to do it he would. Though Sound was a complete and almost versatile tool he still carried a weapon with him. He carried a hook sword with him. Usually they came in a pair but he only held one. The handle was made of rubber, but the rest of it was a nice steel. While he was waiting for the battle to start he twirled it in his hand.

Raija was going to use her gift to the maximum potential it held. Which, wasn't much. Considering she had only been at Beata for a short time, this would be a rather good chance to see what all she could do. Looking down at her feet, a sly smirk crossed her face as she reached down, stroking the glass temporarily as to check how vulnerable it would be. It should sustain me. She thought to herself, before standing up. Inhaling deeply, she looked across at her opponent. When she had heard that she was going up against a guy, it had only made her weary. She didn't know anything about this dude, and if he was strong or not. Nervously scratching the back of her palm, Raija quickly disguarded all ill feelings and put on the face she normally had.

Inhaling deeply, a soft glow surrounded Raija's body. It took to the air for a few moments, before in her frail appearances' wake was left a much different creature. It had the silhouette of a wolf, but much larger... It still stood as tall as Raija was as a human. Inhaling once more, she looked down as the vibrant light-blue markings gave off a soft glow, indicating she had a fair amount of energy.

As soon as the bell rang, Magic let out a sigh. This was gonna be troublesome. The boy took in a sharp inhale and let out a scream. But as the scream traveled across the platform, the scream got higher in pitch, and a whole lot faster, going straight for the wolf person, ready to create and explosion on contact.

When the bell rang, Raija just stayed where she was. She wanted to see what this boy could throw at her, nevertheless how much harm he could do. Staring at her opponent, a curious look crossed her when she saw him just... Scream. But then, it hit.

Phwoom.

A yelp came from the mythological beast, the girl skidding across the platform as her paws failed to grip the glass. Right before the edge of the platform neared her, she stabled herself. Growling distastefully towards 'Magic,' the over-sized wolf started moving quickly towards him. Unsheathing the remainder of her claws, bolting as fast as she could she lept and tried to tackle her opponent.

Magic didn't waste a second to retaliate against the wolf that was charging for him letting out another scream, but warping it to make the vibrations, and waves strong to push the wolf backwards. By warping his sound he was able to make the molecules in the air more dense to be able move a lot of mass.

Even as the waves did push Raija back, she did her best to push on. Continuously growling in distaste, a soft screech could be heard as her claws scraped against the fragile field, before eventually she couldn't do much more. With a soft yelp, and unable to even get a blow, she had lost her grasp on the field. Shifting in practically mid-air, the surprised look of Raija didn't wipe as she had been somewhat flung from the entire platform.
