It was honestly surprising that there was nobody else out here that she could see. Every time she heard somebody talk about it, they said it was a popular place to hang out, yet the few times she'd been up here - it was always by herself. She couldn't understand why, but she was hardly complaining either. Even if it was right where the sun was, there was always a cool breeze, and you could see the entire campus - even the lake and mountains, all in one spot. It was great, sure as hell better than being stuck inside. Probably not a bad place to hide when ditching class, either. Not that she would ever do such a thing, nope. Never.

So, contently Lynn sat on the cemented ground, watching the sun start to fall and combing a few fingers through her hair. The young woman wasn't sure how long she would be staying there. Sometimes she camped out from late at night until the early morning. It wasn't exactly hard to sneak back to the dorm rooms, if you knew how. She wasn't worried, looking around with mild curiosity when she heard the familiar click of the roof's door opening behind her.

Dublin was familiar with staying out all night, just for the pure enjoyment of breaking a couple rules. Also the enjoyment of a pretty girl when that was possible, but if not he would be just fine with a cig. It appeared tonight however, he'd be in company of both.

He didn't go to the rooftop often, as he had only just found out about the place. (Come on, did anyone actually know there was one here? What the heck, did it just show up one day?) As it was so unpopular, he didn't expect anyone else to be up there, but he had guessed wrong. As soon as he say the girl, he paused his walk and raised an eyebrow. In his front pocket he had a half empty pack of Marlboros, while he held Reese's Pieces in his hands. Probably not the most normal combination, but dammit they worked, okay?

"Hey. Am I gonna bother you?" He really would rather not leaving, but he didn't want to be sitting here awakwardly all night with someone else sitting there awkwardly as well.

As he walked in on the roof with his strange combination of cigarettes and peanut butter candies in hand, she gave him an equally curious look, tilting her head slightly to the side and tucking a few light strands of hair behind her ear. Nobody had ever come up while she was there, so she was a little surprised that someone would be here now. "Hey." She called back simply. It was a clear evening, with the weather not too hot and everything around the school seemingly quiet. Every now and then, she heard a few people on the ground walking by and talking, but other than that - there seemed to be little that could bother her. She eyed the Reese's Pieces he held. If anything, his appearance was likely a bonus. "You won't if you don't mind sharing." she said with a small smile, pulling her knees in and inviting him to sit with a small wave of her hand.

Dublin could get with sharing his Marlboros, that would be fine. The candy however, that would be a bit harder. He appeared to be in serious thought for a moment for grinning. "If that's the price I have to pray for such pretty company, then I guess I can deal." He joked lightly. He didn't mean to be a flirt. However, he was an Andrews, and it was in his blood to say the things he did. They just kinda came out.

He walked over and sat down beside the blonde, pulling the peanut butter chocolate candy and handing it to her. He didn't expect to have company, so he really didn't want to start smoking right away. It left a bad first impression, and the smell wasn't exactly pleasant to deal with. So he just sat there and ate a couple of Reese's, his arm resting on his knees that he had pulled up. "I'm Dublin." He didn't really feel it necessary to say anymore about himself than that. There wasn't really anything important to say, after all.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes are his sarcastic manner, laughing a little under her breath. "Wow," Brailynn mused, her smile growing a bit. "I haven't heard something that cheesy in a long time." She glanced back at the setting sun while he sat down next to her, quietly taking the candy away from him and pouring a small pile into the palm of her hand before passing it back. "Thanks." She said quietly, looking back ahead and tossing a small candy into her mouth, careful to make her little stash last.

That was a sort of strange name: Dublin. But then again, there were people here named things like 'Lamia' and 'Cythrakeus', so then again - it probably wasn't strange at all. "Brailynn." She offered back, eating another Reese's Piece. It went quiet for a bit after that, as she tried to keep her eyes on the sky, but she kept stealing glances at him. He was very handsome - that was for sure, but there was something about the way he looked that made her feel like she already had seen him before; though at the same time, she swore she hadn't. "You look familiar." She said, a bit skeptically.

Dublin laughed along with her before shrugging. "I'll have you know, lines like that have gotten me plenty of girls. Cheesy works." He nodded his point before popping a few more pieces into his mouth. He saw that she was going one at a time, but he never really understood that method. Can't really be precise, just go for it. Candy is candy. (This was very important to him, okay? ;-;)

He totally noticed her sneaking glances at him, but to be honest, and at risk of sounding full of it, he was used to the attention. His power sometimes drew attention to him when he didn't mean it. (And the Andrews weren't known for being displeasing to the eyes, after all.) Speaking of being an Andrews... He shrugged, turning and studying her for a moment. "I think I'd know if I met you before." He paused in thought for a moment before shrugging. "But.. You might know my brother or sister. You know a Preston, or Verona Andrews?" So their parents got busy, and they got busy in quite a few places at that.

She wasn't exactly sure that it was the cheesiness that supposedly swept up all the girls off of their feet, so much as it was something else, but she said nothing more about it; smiling down and looking at her candy instead. Brailynn couldn't help but notice the strange look he was giving her as she stuck one Reese's Piece in her mouth at a time, as if the way she were eating it was a serious crime. "Do you have a problem with my candy eating methods?" She asked teasingly, opening the palm of her hand holding out the Pieces. She began sorting them into different colors.

The blonde laughed quietly again at his little pick up, a little thrown off when he started naming off his family. "You're Vera's brother?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Brailynn paused to get a better look at him, guessing that he sorta of looked like her. The resemblance wasn't too strong. "That's... cool, I guess." She mused, eating another candy - out of the biggest colored pile, to be exact.

He didn't realize his thoughts were so evident on his face, so when she brought it up he looked surprised at first. He crossed his arms playfully and shrugged, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I wasn't gonna bring it up, but yes actually, I do. You can't just eat one at a time. That's totally limiting the experience- and why would you seperate them?" He added in mock disbelief as he noticed her sorting them by color. He shook his head, turning away before popping a few into his mouth. "Springs.." He muttered.

He raised an eyebrow back at her. "You know my sister?" He was curious what this girl knew about his sweet, selfless little sister. Ha.

Brailynn laughed, shaking her head and finishing her little piles of Reese's, picking up a piece and holding it between the tips of her fingers - as if it were something to behold. "Just because you stuff them in your mouth doesn't make them taste any better, it just means you're out of candy sooner." She said, feeling a little confident in her explanation, before he decided to hate on her color-sorting habit. "And - erm, because I just like too...? ... Shut up." She quickly realized she had no real answer, eating the small Piece to give herself a moment. "Autumns..." She huffed back, a bit melodramatically.

The young woman bit her lip, knowing that Verona did indeed have brothers at the school, but she never bothered in finding out who they were exactly. "Yeah, we used to be friends." Lynn mused quietly, "Before she decided to stir up shit for nothing." A bunch of accusations and dirty looks over Lynn's friend, whom Vera supposedly hated anyways. Last she heard, they were on a plane to Hawaii.

She then realized it probably wasn't best to talk crap about a girl to her brother. "I mean - I shouldn't have said that."

Dublin shook his head, denying her answer. "No, no, no. You're gonna run out of them eventually anyway, and if you eat one at a time it may last longer, but it just won't be as tasty although. Good things don't last forever, so while they're there you might as well just make them good...er." He narrowed his eyes, daring her to correct him. Just to be safe, he quickly mumbled, "Shut up," before eating a few more Reese's, as if to prove a point.

Dublin looked over at Lynn, raising an eyebrow in amusement. He wasn't surprised to hear that, really. His sister lived for drama. It was her thing, and it didn't really bother him, as he was rarely on the other end of it. "It's cool. She's my sister, and I love her, but I know she isn't an all around angel." Oh yes, plenty of times as a kid he had seen her devil horns. Then again, he definitely was far from perfect. Speaking of his vices...

He pulled a cigarette from his pocket along with a lighter and held it to his lips, before pausing and looking over at Lynn. "Would you mind?" It was probably best to ask before he was seconds from lighting it, but he wasn't one for social graces.

As she picked off another Piece, listening to his passionate explanation, the smile she had had yet to disappear. "Is that so?" Lynn mused in a teasing voice, shooting him a look as he dumped even more of the small candies in his mouth. "You take your candy pretty seriously." To appease him a bit, she took her better judgement and at the rest of her little candies at once, reading for his bag to take more immediately when he was done. "If you insist, though..." More for her and less for him, she supposed.

That wasn't exactly the response she'd been expecting, but didn't feel like saying much more on it. She supposed she missed Verona, but their friendship had been shaky since the first day, so she supposed she should've at least known better. "Dublin Andrews." She muttered, making sure to the remember the name. "You have the same gift as her too?" The girl asked.

When he slipped out his cigarette, she didn't mind in the least. Shrugging and motioning for him to go ahead. A good number of friends back in her hometown had far worse habits. "Those are gonna kill your lungs. Shame on you." She said, jokingly getting on his case.

With a sense of pride in making Lynn eat candy the right way, Dublin grinned and handed her the bag. He didn't mind the fact that he'd be getting less candy, though he didn't really think of that fact. Obviously why he wasn't in Spring, he was too busy living in the moment.

He couldn't help but wonder what had went down between Brailynn and Vera. He didn't really see it appropriate to ask the girl herself, as it seemed like a shaky subject. Instead, he made a mental note to talk to his sister later and get the story from her. Even if it would be a bit biased in her favor, he could already see that. At her question, Dublin couldn't hold back a wink and a crooked grin. "You mean do I have a special knack for getting all the girls? Yeah. Oh, and the power is a nice plus too."

When she gave him the go ahead, he quickly lit his cigarette and breathed in, the taste of nicotine a relief. Taking a moment before replying, he let out a huff of breath, smoke rings leaving his lips before dissolving in the air. "If I die, I'll die happy." Perhaps not happy, but all in all he wouldn't mind dying.

Brailynn couldn't help but laugh lightly when she saw the smug look on his face, both from having her eat the Reese's the "right" way and seeing the look of pride on his face when he bragged about his gift. Wonderful, because the thing that Beata really needed right now was another player on the scene. More competition for all the girls on campus, she supposed... Well, most of them, anyways. She just rolled her eyes. "All the girls?" she mused with a smirk. "You seem a little too confident in yourself."

Since he had retreated to his cigarette, she kept the candy bag for herself, taking a few more Pieces out of the bag. For a few moments, the Spring said nothing, something about his words didn't seem quite right to her. "That's weird of you to say." Lynn said quietly, her hazel eyes finding him again. "Please tell me you're not one of those 'yolo' junkies..." It felt awkward using such an ancient term, but she couldn't think of a better way to describe it.
