Waiting........

Alicia brought the small glass up to her lips and sipped it gently, "You're not used to talking about yourself, are you?" she pondered.

Montare snickered. "Not at all. As I've said before, I never got out much. It was mostly training this training that." mentioned as he realized just how "sheltered" he was.

Alicia's eyes softened before taking another small sip, "I see... You're very lucky to have a head start on your training." She commented, pausing again before speaking. "What else are you looking for?"

"What do you mean?" he asked, not sure of what she meant. He was also beginning to feel....something.

"I mean, aside from controlling your powers, what do you want in life?" Alicia was trying to keep up the conversation, averting her gaze from the cakes and finding one to nibble on.

Montare thought and realized he didn't know due to his father and grandfather doing nothing but focusing him on training. "I...I don't know. I never got a chance to think about it." he looked down in sorrow, now that he realized he didn't even think of something like. And then he felt that feeling again, realizing what it was. Oh no...

Alicia looked a little saddened by her answer. She had thought it might be a blessing to be raised in a family where gifts were normal, but maybe that wasn't exactly the case. She did notice the off expression on his face, though. "Are you alright?"

"It's my damn tail again. I don't know why it got so bad. I can generaly control my power just fine." He made sure no one else was in earshot as he spoke.

"Oh..." Alicia blinked, setting her cake down and covering her lips with her hand, she looked down and laughed lightly - trying to hide it.

He noticed her laughter and blushed. "Uhm, hopefully no one will notice? It was obvious he was desperate, not wanting to end up with the whole cafe looking at him.

"I don't think so... and even if they did, would they care?" Alicia calmed herself down and gently stirred her cup of coffee, "I'm sorry, forgive me. I shouldn't have laughed."

"I'm pretty sure that th-" Montare was cut off by a ripping sound and his tail appearing. This caused him to blush even more.

Alicia bit her lip and looked down, blushing again. You'd think his gifted clan made some kind of clothing to cope with incidents like this, "Perhaps we should head back to the school?" She suggested lightly.

"Good idea, I guess I'll see you at the dorms or something." after saying this, he got up and started walking out the cafe, forcing himself to slow down so Alicia could catch up.

Alicia blinked, watching him leave - she slipped her wallet out of her purse and left a tip for the waitress before quickly standing up and walking after him.
