"How lucky are you? To be chosen to travel the world in her name? It is a great honor." Her voice was lilting, clear and song-like, bouncing off the cold steel walls and echoing through every chamber. It was a sweet sound, but Alicia couldn't help but think she was growing tired of it. The woman, Nadia, she never quite stopped talking. She was always cheery, always with something to comment on, and as dreary as it sounded - she wished she would just stop.
She'd always imagined AF as a stern group, nothing more than robotic killing machines. That's what every Person-in-Black had appeared like during her own time as a student, but she supposed that wasn't quite fair of an assessment. After all, Beata had their own fair share of crude and crazies. Who was she to judge appearances? Alicia sighed and bit away at her lip. It'd been months since she'd set out on her own to look for him.
How did she end up like this?
When they'd finally reached the end of the line, she'd found herself at loss for breath. She was horrified. Rows of bodies, looking like nothing more than husks, floating and clinging on to what little existence they had. While the disgust was clear on her face, she could make out Nadia's grin from the corner of her eye.
She clasped her gloved hands together. "Amazing! Your work is coming along fantastically, Jung-herra."
