A Lazy Potato [Open] Empty
PostSubject: A Lazy Potato [Open]   A Lazy Potato [Open] EmptyThu Mar 31, 2016 6:04 pm

It was a beautiful day outside. There wasn't really a cloud in the sky, and the sun warmed the earth. Animals were going through the area, birds were returning. Overall is was a very nice day, and people should be spending it outside, because it was spring time!

Well a certain autumn wasn't. That certain autumn actually sat on one of the couches in the lounge. He had a lazy grin on his face, as his green eye looked up at the t.v. screen. Though he wasn't sitting on the couch like a normal person. The way he sat made it look like he was being absorbed by the couch, or he was becoming one with the couch. His hands were folded on his stomach, and it looked like he wasn't moving an inch. The only thing that really told he wasn't dead was the rise and fall of his chest.

Robert continued to look at the screen. In his mind he felt a slight twinge of being uncomfortable, but he was far to lazy to move. He had managed to doze off a few times while sitting here. He couldn't even remember how long he had been here, and how long it had been since he moved even slightly. He could only guess he had been here a few hours, and hadn't moved in an hour or two. He knew he would have to move soon or else it wouldn't be a fun time for his back. The boy blinked, and then let out a sigh of content, letting the screen take his attention again.

A Lazy Potato [Open] Empty

Charlotte wandered the halls of the Academy, trying to find something to do. The last few weeks had been entirely too uneventful for her and she ached for some sort of interaction with another student. She found a room that seemed almost like every other room in the school, yet when she peeked through the window, she noticed it seemed kind of like a small rec room.

She also noticed that there was someone in there, sitting on the couch and looking half-asleep. Sighing, as this was the only student not engrossed in another activity. Unless sitting on a couch counts. But that doesn't matter much, Charlotte would settle for simply a conversation if that's all she can find.

Thus, she shoves the door open, perhaps a bit too harshly, and sits on the opposite end of the couch, slinging her legs over the arm. Her eyes travel to a television in front of them and she watched the program for a few seconds before adjusting her scarlet glasses and clearing her throat:

"I'm Charlotte, and you are?" Despite her position on the couch, she managed to crane her neck to see the boy next to her in the side of her vision. Her golden eyes settled on him as she waited to see if he would respond.

A Lazy Potato [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Lazy Potato [Open]   A Lazy Potato [Open] EmptySat Apr 02, 2016 7:59 am

The first half of Evaline's day had gone well. She'd made sure to get up at 6 AM in the morning, before anyone else in her dorm had even been awake, and called a cab to drive her down to Rosebury. From then on until 1 PM, she's flitted around the countryside and the suburban area with her camera and tripod, snapping well over a hundred photographs of various people, scenes, and settings all around the small town. Spring had begun, and she'd finally been able to go outside in a light jacket instead of a bulky winter coat. Trees were budding, flowers were blooming, and birds were beginning to sing once more. It had been a lovely experience, really.
And then it started to rain.

Though the rain had only lasted about fifteen minutes, it'd been nothing short of a relentless downpour. Somehow, Eva had managed to protect her camera from the pelting liquid, but not without getting soaked to the bone herself. After a lousy, uncomfortable cab ride back to Beata, she'd walked into her dorm only to face all of her dormmate's gazes while they played a board game in the living room. It'd been like a nightmare. Red-faced and sopping wet with rainwater, Evaline had quickly changed her clothes, grabbed her laptop and camera, and bee-lined out of her dorm. She couldn't even sit in her room. It was all too embarrassing. She'd have to upload all her photos to her computer elsewhere.

After a few minutes spent flitting around the academy, Eva ended up outside the lounge. Praying that no one was present, she pushed the door open with her elbow and walked in. She hadn't heard any voices from outside, so..

And of course there were already people sitting around. Evaline felt the compulsion to turn tail and go elsewhere, as her nerves were still on edge from the incident in the dorm, but she'd already walked too far into the lounge to turn back.

"O-Oh, uh, hello!" she stammered awkwardly at the two students already present, offering them a tiny wave. "I-If you don't mind, I'm just gonna sit here to work on some stuff.." She scuttled over to the one couch that wasn't being used and promptly sat down, setting her camera on the cushion next to her and her computer on her lap. I sound like such an idiot. Why did I even open my mouth? Ugh!

A Lazy Potato [Open] Empty

Rob didn't even flinch as the door was shoved open a bit to roughly. The only thing that signaled movement was the movement of his eyes at they flicked over to the new comer in the room. His gaze followed her for a moment but soon settled back onto the t.v as the girl took a position on the couch. Figuring the girl was just here to watch t.v. the autumn boy didn't say much, didn't really pay her much mind, but that was until she cleared her throat and spoke up. His eyes glanced over to her for a split second before returning to the show. He didn't really care for her tone, but didn't mean he wasn't going to answer. "Rob." He simple responded keeping the lazy smile on his face.

Soon the doors had opened again, and another girl appeared. He turned his head slightly to see the girl this time though the rest of him didn't move. "I don't mind. This is a public space after all. As long as you don't require me to do any work." He said to the girl watching her cross the room, and sit down on one of the empty couches. He noticed the camera but decided not to question it. She already seemed shy enough as it was. He turned his head back to the t.v. His gaze flicked between the two girls before settling back on the screen, returning to his moment of laziness, and silence. He was sure it would be broken any moment.

Charlotte nodded at the student, Rob's, response and immediately looked at the doors when they opened.  She stared at the girl, as she usually does when looking at someone she's never met before.  Her golden eyes analyze the student and she suppresses a smile at her shy attitude.  That type of person always amuses Charlotte; she used to be the same way, but now that she's much more loud and outgoing she prefers to occasionally mess with them.

She shrugged off the thoughts and instead focused on talking to the girl that just entered:

"So who're you?"  Her eyes narrowed a bit as she tried to look at least a little intimidating.

Meanwhile, she twisted her finger around a short strand of her fading pink hair.  Charlotte let her mind wander a bit and she thought about possibly dying her hair again, or doing something to change her appearance.  The worst thing about the stability here was that nothing seemed to change.  At least, it was like that for Charlotte.  Perhaps after meeting some new people, her life here will become much more interesting.  Either way, she'd have to start stirring up trouble somehow.
