An Arrival

Myra rolled her suitcase through the entrance and looked around. She turned her music up before pushing a strand of her hair out of her face. She adjusted her hood and started walking again.

As Sandosius was walking around he sensed someone to his side. "Are you new here? My name is Sandosius. Nice to meet you" He held out his hand and waited for a response.

Myra looked at the guy, not hearing what he was saying. She paused her music and pulled her ear buds out. "Sorry? What was that?" she asked. She looked at his hand and guessed that he had introduced himself.

Sandosius thought nothing of this. Seeing how he can't see. He just figuerd that she had music playing. "My name is Sandosius. Pleased to meet you!" He still had his hand out waiting for a response.

Ally walked by digging her hands in her pockets when she saw the new girl excitement rippled through her. Seeing another student there she walked up behind eyes shining. Not wanting to over crowd the new kid she stationed herself near the steps ready to say hi when needed.

Myra took Sandosius' hand and shook it. "Myra. Nice to meet you too." she said. She guessed that he couldn't see. "And yes, I am new here," she answered. She looked around a bit, noticing a girl standing near the steps, before looking back at Sandosius.

"Well. You are obviously here for a reason. My is this." Sandosius created a ball of sand, made it fly around his head and back to his hand, then made it dissapear. "I can do alot more." He moved his head around as if he was looking. Then he whispered. "But not here." He had a smirk on his face. "So whats your power?"

Myra watched him create the ball of sand and smiled slightly. "I can create white fire." Myra responded. "You have an amazing power." she complimented.

"Really? This one girl said it was stupid said 'Oh you can move sand'. Thank you that means alot." In his mind he thought that the girl was nice. Maybe they could be friends. He had never had friends. "Well can you show me?"

Myra set her suitcase down and held out her closed fist. She slowly opened her hand and a flame about the size of a quarter appeared hovering slightly over her palm. She glanced at Sandosius briefly.

Sandosius felt the warmth. "Thats really cool! I wish I could do that!" He was really excited to feel that warmth. He could also sense how beautiful the flame was.

Myra gently closed her hand into a fist and the flame disappeared. She smiled at Sandosius before saying, "Thank you."

He felt her smile. "Are.... We.... Um.... Friends nnn... Now?" His awkwardness got the nest of him there. He was shaking. Never having friends. He smiled a little

Myra smiled wider. "Yeah, we're friends." she replied. "Would you show me around?" She picked up her suitcase and looked at him hopefully.

"Well I can't show you exactly. Still blind. But I can walk you around the entrance!" He laughed a little bit. He like having a friend. His first friend! So exciteing! He still didn't know what to do....
