Brand new day

Terry walked around by the entrance looking at the large building infront of her and looked behind at the gate for a moment with a little smile before walking up towards the school a little. When a bench caught her eyes and she walked towards it, setting her purple and pink striped suitcase with a large pink plastic lily on the ground. Her hair flowed in the light wind as she sat down and took off her purple swirly handbag and put it right by her on the bench as a few of her brushes and ink containers fell out of the open handbag. Her eyes gazed on the school grounds for a few moments before picking up her stuff and carefully placing it inside the handbag as she wondered about all the wonders that this school could bring yet a bit of worry of where she was meant to go and what the lessons would be like. Her eyes fixed on the trees and the sky as she shook her head slightly with a smile as the wind gently blew her hair to her left like a gentle wave of the sea on a warm day except the reality was a much colder day that set small shivers up her arms.

A pair of blue, ice cold eyes scanned the area, searching for any sight of another human being. Since today was indeed her first day at this wondrous academy, the frail girl felt the need to avoid anyone at all costs. She had a inner feeling that something--which is unknown to here now--held a dark and cruel aura, though, since she was most likely out of range from this suspicious being, she could only assume such a thing. She prayed that it was nothing more than a mere bad feeling of anxiety washing over her petite body, but even when she force herself to think such things; she always ends up reverting back to her first thought. "I...I must be delusional..." With a light, yet firm nod, she confirmed herself that it was nothing. Cheri HAD to be just paranoid, right?

A sigh left her cold lips, showing her great distress at the moment. It was hard to keep of with this consent war of fear and willpower, battling over every little situation she faced. It bothered her ever so much, but it wasn't like she could stop over thinking things overnight, and besides, this was what made up her different personality.

Shaking her head lightly, the female began to move towards the main building; her luggage at hand. Her white braids lightly bounced up and down with each step, going along with the rattling of her rolling luggage bag, and the swaying of her raven and hot pink dress. To some, noises like these would drive them nuts, but Cheri didn't care. She enjoyed all noises, nature and all. It fascinated her how different each sound is different from the next--much like human beings in some sort of way. "Hmm? Who is that?" Once reaching hallway down the road she was talking her eyes noticed someone sitting on a nearby bench, picking up fallen items while gazing at the school in awe. To be honest, she couldn't blame the stranger for being amazed--Cheri was herself--but with such a look on her face, with such a twinkle in her eye, the pinkette knew she was dealing with a fellow new student here.

For a minute or so, she debated on saying hi or simply walking away; both options had very well and strong pros and cons. Cheri herself wasn't too much of a loner, nor too much of a shy person, only a paranoid girl, so making a new friend is not something she hates with passion or anything. Though, with such a strong feeling towards that dark force lurking around her head, it was extremely hard for Cheri to trust another stranger too much, but even with that con, she forced herself to go towards the stranger. "Hey."

Chills went down Terry's back as she heard the sound of another person bringing her down to earth from her peaceful daydream again as she quickly shook her head from side to side from the shock checking out where the sound came from.

She stopped shaking her head at the sigh of the girl and her eyes set on her crystal blue eyes as she thought to herself "I wonder what shes like" as she picked up her handbag and put it on her lap before saying "Hi would you possibly like to sit down?" In truth she wasn't sure of what to say and many thoughts run thought her head like a lion racing down it's prey.

Slowly the thoughts began eating her away of what to say next but she didn't let it show and smiled warmly at the girl covering up her distress of starting a conversation. Her eyes glistened when the sun hit them as the cotton like clouds moves among the blue sea in the skies. "Are you new here too?" she said calmly with a hint of interest although in her mind she was certain of the answer yet thought if anything it was the right thing to say or at least she thought. "Maybe i'm seeming shallow to her right now or stupid?" she thought over and over in her mind although the idea hadn't bothered her as much as it seemed but left her a little distressed of how things might turn for her if simple conversations weren't the easiest start for her when she realized that she hadn't yet introduced herself. "It's too late to do that now surely it must and i'd look strange to do this now i'll just wait for her to introduce herself or ask me about it". She smiled again softly as she cleared the thoughts inside her head and enjoyed the view as she awaited an answer.
