Barry -  Magic. 'Nuff Said. And also gf got shattered the day they got together. Tough luck.
Matt -  Pining over Soph. Some torture that's coming up real soon. It'll drive him crazy.
Chris -  He lost a fucking arm. It's okay though, he's all right. geddit.
Mikaela - Watched her bro die. Destiny Ex Machina saved the day though.
Samuel - Nothing. He's just an edgelord that would probably want to be on this list.

joseph - suffers from gift-associated depression and post-traumatic stress disorder
anthony - lost his father at a young age to the vietnam war
peter - overly critical of his performance due to strict, emotionally abusive parents
roderick - suffers from catatonic schizophrenia and acid addiction

the other three are, for the most part, fine. noah's got shitty parents, but it doesn't really affect him on a day-to-day basis.
