Wasn't this just quaint! Danny arrived on a super sunny day in a super sunny car with a super sunny smile to the super sunny school with its super sunny students! What a perfect day to arrive at a new school. Boy, it had taken a lot to convince his dad that this was a good move, but the man had decided it was time for a change and had allowed his only son to go to the school, granted he came home and visited on occasion. Dan was okay with that, since home was where his heart was and his heart was already missing his father. The instant he had stepped off the plane in North Dakota he had missed the man and as soon as he left the bright yellow taxi all thoughts of his father didn't escape his mind, but were simply pushed back slightly as he reached the front of the school. He wouldn't see his dad for most of the year, so it was safe to push him back a bit, though he told himself that he wouldn't be forgetting him. He couldn't ever forget his dad.

Stepping closer toward the school Danny took a deep breath and his grin grew wider, if that was even physically possible. After the wonderful deep breath and looked around. There were students everywhere and he wasn't sure where to start. They had said the office, but why not say hello to someone first? Cheerily the tall boy approached the first person he saw. "Hey there! I'm Danny, I'm new here. What's your name? This is one fine school. Do you like it here?" Daniel may have been a bit too upfront with the way he spoke, but he preferred to occupy his mind with happy thoughts rather than try to think on the negative. Sometimes he slipped, but this time he wasn't going to. Not in front of a new someone.

Luke looked lost in thought as his eyes flickered around his feet. He was sat on a bench by the entrance, watching a bunny he had made hop around near him. Nobody else could see it, as usual, which made it all the more entertaining. He was learning to love his gift, slowly but surely, and all it had to offer. He loved that when he felt lonely he could create an imaginary friend, and if he was in company he could cheer them up. As an almost sickeningly sweet voice hit his ears, he was forced to look up, losing his bunny immediately as his concentration was broken. He didn't really mind that much, being as passive as he was. He smiled kindly and stuck out a timid hand. "I'm Luke. It's a pleasure to meet you," he said politely. "It's alright, much better than home. I haven't been here long, but it's been a little overwhelming."

It was true, the way Danny was was a forced face put on in front of others to appear happy. Truly he was happy, there wasn't any reason not to be. He was always happy, especially when with his father. His dad was the best person he knew, there was no one cooler. But making friends was what he needed to do while at Beata, since his dad wasn't there with him. So he would do that and that started with talking to someone when he arrived. Which wasn't hard since there were a lot of people around. "It's nice to meet you too. That makes sense, I've never been away from home. My dad prefers when we're both at home, so I only ever leave for school. It's hard being away, and it's only been a few hours." Danny admitted, laughing unnecessarily at this comment. "So, from what you have seen, other than it being overwhelming, what's it like here? What is there to do around here?" Dan planned to occupy his time with anything he could find to do because if he stopped moving for even a moment, he was sure he would explode.
