Her green eyes brightened as his train if thought went along, thankfully he seemed to agree with her that there wasn't much to lose. An hour wasn't too much time at all, but it was already more than she was hoping for. Dakota pulled herself off of the couch. It was probably best she left him be for now. He could get back to his book, she could go hunt down a bite to eat, and then she could take ten years picking out the perfect outfit - it was always good to dress to impress, after all. "I'll see you tomorrow then, Magic." She smiled warmly, moving to make a graceful exit out if the lounge.
Unfortunately after the first step or two, she was anything but graceful. Some careless person had left their things on the floor and she found herself tripping, falling and barely catching on the end of the couch - just across his lap, her face turning a beet red in an instant.
