This was a very interesting place to be. This wasn't a spot Erin had been to before in her short time on campus. Heck, she didn't even know about it until she overheard some students talking about going up there for lunch. When she decided to check it out, the rooftop was completely empty, which was nice. As she closed the door behind her, she looked out to see the view. She could see every building, all of the people below looked so tiny. It was amazing! Sitting down close to the edge, she snuggled up in her light jacket as she stared off into the distance, taking in all of the sights. She became so enthralled that she didn't even hear the door open behind her.

When Blake had heard of a rooftop it peaked his interest. He loved being up at soaring heights, it made him feel more powerful.. Looking down at everything and seeing everything it made him loose stress as strange as it was. The blonde had brought a book with him and started walking up the stairs, it was a dark stair-case, slightly creeped out although that didn't stop the young man from embarking on his adventure too the roof. Blake soon came across a door and the blonde had cracked it open peering out of it's crack just a little. Even then he could tell that it was a sight too see, so he quickly had opened the door and stepped out onto the roof. Taking a deep breath and smiling, it was beautiful alright he could sit and stare for entirety perhaps. The blonde was slightly surprised too see someone else was here, he figured that the roof wouldn't be a very popular spot too be. Clearing his throat so the girl would know that he was here Blake had then said something. "Beautiful view and a gorgeous day." He had said in a hum like tone as he glanced at the bright blue sky, his hair gently flowing with the November breeze.

When the boy cleared his throat, Erin jumped and whirled around so that she was facing him. Thankful for the fence that surrounded the edge of the building, she instinctively found her left hand covering her chest as if to keep her heart from leaping out. It was yet another unfamiliar face, but he looked nice enough. Smiling at him and laughing at her own embarrassment, she reached up with her right hand to tuck her thick, curly hair behind her ear as a chilly breeze picked up and pushed it right back out of place. "Yes it is!" she replied, agreeing with him whole-heartedly. "I've actually never been up here before. It's strange to see the campus from this high up. Who knew it could look this pretty with all of these buildings and concrete?" While her accent was thick, it was easily understandable. Standing up, she walked towards the fence, her fingers grasping onto it through the holes in the chain-link as she looked over the ground below once more. "Have you been up here before?"

At first Blake didn't know what too think of Erin. First Impressions were everything weren't they and the brunette seemed rather startled at his apperance. However that was slightly his fault since he basically did sneak up on her. The blonde had softly smiled at her embarrassment before glancing away "Once or twice, came up here alone. Don't really know that many people." The blonde had said with a shrug. "Anythings pretty when you look at it from a view." Blake had said sitting at a nearby bench before saying something else. "You new as well?" Although Blake was probably newer then Erin was since he hadn't been sorted into a house yet and by the looks of Erin's uniform it was clear that she was of the autumn house.

When she could finally peel her eyes away from the view below, she glanced back over at Blake with a slight bit of excitement. He was in the same boat as she was. She didn't actually have any friends yet. She'd met quite a few people, but that was about as far as her relationships had gotten. She wasn't sure if it was her or the fact that everyone else here seemed to be native of the United States and she was just the sore thumb from Ireland. Whatever it was, she was glad to finally meet someone in a similar situation. Maybe this was her chance to make friends? "Pretty much. I've only been here for a few months. I haven't really been able to meet anyone, strangely enough. But I'm also barely in the classroom or in the middle of events either. I love being outdoors, so I'm usually by myself," she replied, shrugging it off. It wasn't that big of a deal. She always felt more at peace by herself in the forest.

Blake didn't judge her, how could he? He only met at least 3 people. Although it didn't bother him to much. He never liked being in a crowd in the first place, an eyebrow rose slightly before the blonde had said something. "Oh an Outdoor enthusiast? Guess I agree with you there." The blonde had said leaning back on the bench too ease his back pain. Blake and Erin had somethings in common, they both liked the outdoors and views and she had seemed pretty chill hopefully they could be become better friends. "Been to the forest yet?" Blake had asked Erin glancing over, last time he had been there when he had eaten lunch with some friends but that was a few weeks ago. "Im still waiting too get sorted.." Blake had said with a annoyed sigh, he had wished that he was able too move out already what was taking the testing process so long anyways?

As soon as Blake mentioned the forest, Erin's eyes lit up. Skipping over to where he was sitting on the bench, she plopped down next to him and beamed. "The forest is amazing!" she exclaimed, crossing her legs and placing her hands on her cheeks from excitement. "It's so peaceful! Everything about is is just... agh!" She giggled like a little girl, her feet kicking around giddily. "I go out there at least once a day just to see everything and feel the ground on my feet. It's a gorgeous place to just relax." She paused just long enough to hear him say something about being sorted. "The process takes forever. But it's worth it! Maybe you'll get placed into the Autumn house too!"

Blake had figured that Erin would also enjoy the forest, a bit surprised when the autumn had decided to sit so close too him but he didn't find it such a big deal. "It's been awhile for me, been busy doing other things." The man had said an image of Tabithas incident coming into his mind, he had felt horrible. "Usually places without noise is more peaceful too the mind and the ears." The blonde had said before nodding although he doubted that he would be in the autumn house.I doubt it but maybe I will be."

Erin nodded at the comment about the forest being peaceful. "Definitely! It's a great place to just.. escape. No one goes there often, so there's a lot of ground you can have all to yourself. It's also a good place to practice your powers. I haven't tried yet, but it sounds like fun!" she said. "For me, I like to go on adventures-- discover things I haven't seen before."

When Erin had mentioned her power it sparked a curiosity in the spring. Glancing over towards the autumn Blake didn't think twice before he had asked her, he didn't think it would be strange too ask her or offensive so she shouldn't react in a bad way. Blinking Blake also didn't recall asking for Erin's name, raising an eyebrow before he spoke the spring had said. "Forgot too introduce myself, my name is Blake Springs." The blonde had said giving Erin a friendly smile before coughing and moving on. "Speaking of powers what is yours? Mine is Memory Manipulation." Blakes gift was rather a strange one although the blonde had found it useful at times typically more so when he got in trouble. "I enjoy adventures as well, staying in one place.. is well rather boring to me."

Erin smiled again when the boy finally introduced himself. Honestly, she'd forgotten entirely about introductions and didn't even think of it until Blake brought it up. "I'm Erin Gallagher. It's a pleasure!" she managed to squeeze in before he quickly moved on. When he asked about her power, she suddenly froze, trying to figure out what to say. How would he take it? Surely, opinions didn't really matter, but she didn't like making people feel uncomfortable, and for whatever reason, her power made everyone feel very uncomfortable. It wasn't like she was going to use it on human beings. That would be weird. She liked to keep to herself. "I, uh... My power is, um..." she stammered as her gaze quickly shifted to the ground and a look of uncertainty covered her face. "Mine is... possession." She quickly told him before he had mentioned something about enjoying adventures. Quickly jumping to her feet, she gave him another smile, hoping he would just skim over her power. "We should go on an adventure sometime then! You and me! Who knows what we can find in the forest!"

Possession..? By the looks of it, Erin didn't seem to enjoy her power too much. Blake had felt slightly guilty maybe it was a bad idea too bring it up, the young boy thought it'd be strange to say sorry so he had kept his mouth shut only silently thinking to himself. Although he didn't care to much for people's gifts the sound of possession it had sounded slightly intimidating. Not being able too control your body or your mind, it gave Blake the chills. Giving Erin a small smile in return to her name, "Nice too meet you, Erin." That was a name Blake would surely remember in his memories. The mood had brightened when Erin had brought up the idea of going on a adventure too the forest, Blake had truly liked the idea so he gave an eager nod. "Sounds fun, how about Tuesday? We can go camping as well." Blake hadn't been camped since he was around 5 years old but the trip was very enjoyable and he would do camping again without a doubt. "Up for spending a little night in the wild?" The blonde had said giving her a slightly challenging look, hoping that she would be up to it. Since Blake had figured it would be fun.

Was that a challenge? He did not just ask that question. Walking up closer to him, she crossed her arms in front of her and gave him a mischievous smirk. She practically lived in the forest. She could, actually, if she really wanted to. Well, maybe.. She knew that she couldn't say no to this even if she wanted to. "You're seriously asking me this right now?" she asked, laughing in a playful disbelief. "You think I can't stay one night in the forest? Well let me tell you this, Mr. Blake. I could camp the night. Hell, I could stay there the whole week!" It was simple tease, but at the same time, she could feel the fire of her competitive spirit kick up inside of her. "I can do Tuesday night. The question is... can you do it?" She asked, picking up her right foot and placing it on the bench next to Blake so that she could lean her elbow on her knee to prop her head. The playful grin never left her face as she waited for an answer.

At first Blake had thought that maybe he had upset Erin, he wasn't the best when it had came too people's emotions. He himself had problems with handling his emotions, blinking as she came closer the spring had felt intimidated. Tension rising up in his shoulders but when she had smirked the spring was confused scratching his head as she laughed giving the autumn a slightly confused nod. An eyebrow rose at her statement, staying in the forest for an entire week? That was a little.. how to put it Blake wasn't actually sure but the longest he had ever stayed in a forest for camping purposes was only two days and a half, would he even be able too handle a entire week? Glancing at Erin as she asked her question he answered it blankly. "Well, considering that I was the one who came up with the idea.. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to." Blake had said blinking at her, his eyes widening as she slammed her foot to where she was sitting. Slightly shocked to see her face so close caused the blonde too blush slightly.

The grin that appeared on her face seemed almost too big for her face. "Good, so it's settled then! Tuesday night, one night, right?" She asked, pulling her foot back down to the ground and sitting back down on the bench, placing her hands in her lap. She looked back at him happily, only pausing when she saw just how confused he looked as well as flustered in general. "Oh, you okay? Too much for you?" she asked, wondering if she might have gone a little too far with the whole thing. She was pretty excited for the camping trip, though. She hadn't been camping in so long and this was her chance to do so with someone who seemed to love the outdoors just as much as her. This was something new she had run across. Normally, people her age were constantly on cell phones or laptops inside.
