A 406 Soirée [PARTY THREAD - open for everyone!!]

Funny how he'd been about to turn away for a second time when shit suddenly hit the fan again. One moment, he had been looking at the few closest to them [Juliette and D'Angelo], and the next the girl had been shoved aside and he was on the ground, claws digging into his shoulders and a wolf's head snarling in his face. His instincts told him to start singing fast, but his body was out if breath from the impact, and he was left struggling for breath. He pushed back on the creature's neck with one hand, reaching around for some sort of weapon with the other, grabbing a hold of an empty bottle.

There were screams and shouts, and before he could smash the glass into Montare's face, he was turning human again - and the situation turned sickeningly awkward. With wide eyes, the boy's face was in his again. He pulled himself up just enough to glance towards their feet. Sure enough, he was naked. Definitely naked...

Jason could feel the bile rising in his throat as the hostess walked over in hysterics, trying to kick him off and towards the door. He wasted no time in helping, kneeing the unmorphed wolf and shoving him off to the side. The blond picked himself up and unto his feet, holding his head.

The sounds of the party could barely be hear from where they stood, or it seemed like it anyways. He smiled down crookedly at the girl, taking it on himself to start to close the distance between them. "Sorry to say, I haven't been sorted yet myself." He had no clue where a couple could find some privacy then, and the odds of the room he had being empty were close to none. "I suppose we're shit out of luck then." Right here would have to do. ;D /bricked

Beneath his cool, collected exterior, Preston was secretly thrilled that she thought highly of his cooking habits. Like he'd said earlier, that little bit of info was always either a hit or a miss. Unfortunately for him, the fight between the two assholes by the drinks was stealing away her attention. It was a little funny to him that she had seemed bothered by it so much. She must not have been to very many parties, at least not ones to this degree. "I wouldn't worry to much about it, I'm sure they're fine." He heard screams, then silence again. He frowned. "Probably..."

"Well, maybe I'm not that new." Her gaze shifted to the side deviously, and she leaned in as if telling a secret. "My dorm is next door." She recognized him leaning in with her, and grinned sleepily. "It's all mine for now. Wanna follow me in, Ginger?" she pushed herself off his shoulders, walking backwards with a daring glare, towards the door of her dorm. She grabbed onto it as if it were needed to stop her, and reached into her bag for her key.

"How do you know if you don't have a watch...?" Logan leaned against nothing in particular and took a long swig of his beer. "We should totalhey, where are you going...?" She was gone when he lowered his drink. Logan didn't make an effort to follow her but rather watched her kick the naked boy with confused eyes. That wasn't right. "I didn't take the drugs, I took the beers..." He spoke to no one. He thought there was someone listening.

Montare groaned in pain as the two began to kick him. Scrambling to his feet so that he could leave the dorm on his own without continuing to be kicked, he made sure to use the jacket Magic had thrown on him to cover his lower region as he did so. Well, there went any chance at redemption, not to mention his chance of making a friend. Montare didn't bother to look back at the people in the room as he walked out the door, both because he didn't want to see their looks of probably disgust, and because he wanted to hide the red appearing on his face. Once his body was outside the room and out of the sight of anyone in the room, he handed the jacket back to Magic. After all, he intended to walk to his dorm as a wolf as soon as he was able. (Assuming he's still near the doorway, otherwise he threw it back in towards Magic.) Montare was hardly looking ahead of himself as he walked, due to covering most of his face with his hands due to the pain of being punched there more than once. Because of this, he failed to notice Maisie and her ginger companion and was coming dangerously close to bumping into them.

In the end, he didn't even keep the jacket. Did he want to be naked the whole way back to his dorm? Was his room nearby? It was awful of her, but for the moment, Jane hoped not. Once he was gone, some of the tenser atmosphere lifted, and Jane fell to her knees with a sigh. God... Even a fist fight would've been better than what had just happened. She reached out to touch the side of the blond's head. "You had to throw a punch, didn't you?" Jane had no idea what they were arguing about, and honestly, it didn't matter. If it wasn't for the pink-haired kid, who had already disappeared back into the crowd, he would've been mincemeat. "You're okay then? No concussion? Not gonna go cry to the infirmary?" A part of her wanted to throw him out too, but Jane couldn't spare the energy or drama to try and usher him out. If he'd escort himself, or if he'd just return to quietly drinking with the girl he'd been chatting up earlier, then that was fine with her. Just so long as she didn't punch anyone else in the face.

Hopefully now, with the fight settled, she could enjoy herself a bit. And that meant...

Jane turned around as Jules' voice, snatching the packet out of the air. She smiled as she stared down at it and crawled back to her feet, walking over to a nearby tablestand, pulling out a new beer, and clinking it against Logan's. She hoisted the bottle into the air. "Let's forget all that, yeah?" Jane announced to the 'get-together.'

This cap popped off easier than the other, and she threw back her head, downing 3/4 of the bottle before pulling away with a small sigh. The packet of white powder was still in her other hand. Assuming no one else was going to turn into an apex predator over a drunken party spat, then she would be free to let loose.

Her eyes locked on a fidgety looking couple on the other side of the room [Rich & Grace]. Amidst all the flirting, drinking, and smoking, they stuck out like a sore thumb. Neither had anything to drink, from the looks of it. "Hey, you two!" she called over with a beaming smile, waving the bottle. "Wanna have some fun?"

It wasn't like anything was going on over there, not unless she was interrupting some deep and meaningful conversation. The girl looked too young for him anyways. She'd be surprised if Jane was getting in the middle of anything.

Magic watched as the now naked wolf-boy left, and was going to follow after him a little to make sure he didn't cause any trouble for anyone else. He just watched his jacket fall to the ground. He wasn't touching that again. Let someone else take care of it. "Looks like my job is done here. Don't cause anymore trouble.." He said to Jane, and walked out of the door. After stepping out of the door the music returned to normal. He didn't really look at the naked boy in the hallway, but shoved him away from a girl, and her ginger companion. "Look where you are going wolf-boy. We don't need anymore unhappy party goers. Magic basically said in a kind of angry tone. It might have been his job to break up stuff like that, but he wasn't going to break up the party only the fight, and since the fight was gone now, he just had to make sure wolf-boy didn't cause anymore trouble.

Luce had finished drinking the first beer by the time Jonathan returned from dealing with Montare. He happily accepted the second beer with a grin on his face, wasting no time to drink a mouthful. "So, how did it feel to grope a wolf and have it turn into some naked dude in your hands?" Amusement was in Luce's voice as he spoke, entertained by the whole situation. However, Montare wasn't someone he wanted to see naked, and was silently grateful for his timely exit out of the room. "Lucky for you, you don't have any competition and I think I like it that way." Luce had a more flirtatious tone now, downing the rest of the beer after he finished speaking.

Montare was completely caught off guard by the shove, stumbling before falling on his arse. He looked up to see Magic was the person who had sent him to the ground, one hand over the eye that had an unpleasant meeting with Jace's fist, the other hand obscuring his crotch. It took him a moment to realise he'd been shoved to stop him from bumping into two students, one of which he recognized as Maisie. The red on his face was only becoming more visible. "Oh shit, sorry!" was the best apology he could think of to try and prevent from another very bad situation from happening. After all, he didn't want to fight again when he was in the hallway naked while pain flooded his face and stomach from the fight he was just in.

Now that everything was starting to settle down again, the small boost of adrenaline he'd had was starting to go away, and it was certainly making his head hurt all the more. Like hell he'd ever make a huge show of that though, watching as Montare scrambled out of the dorm room with a jacket gripped around his waste. It would've been funny if that hadn't been on top of him not a few moments before. The blond took in a deep breath and brought his hand down, clenching it at his side. He'd hardly noticed the hostess was at his side before she'd put her hand to his head. His gaze shot down to her instantly.

"Yeah, sorry. I really did." It would make sense that she was more worried about her party than he himself was, though. She made it all too obvious when he attention was turned away so quickly, several people calling her name, waving beers or other substances of interest. "I'll be fine," he muttered, glancing back to where Keirsta had been before, but she seemed to have moved. Jace sighed and stretched his neck out, looking around for some other distraction - preferably a pleasant one.

Liam hadn't felt the need for a formal answer, watching as she backed away toward another door, not too far down from where they already stood. His smile was hard to ignore then as he followed her to the door. He thumbed at the small items in his pocket, watching her as she dug around for her keys. "Tell me -" That thought would have to be held as he felt something brush behind him. His gaze flickered to the shape of some naked asshole being shoved onto the floor, bare as the day he was born. It caught him off guard, so say the least. "The fuck...?" This guy had to be on acid or something. He shot a look at Magic, then at guy staring up at them frantically and clutching his own sack.

Maisie stop fumbling with the lock, and for good reason. A naked boy had just bumped into her, and she couldn't help but laugh out loud, coming so close as to almost slap her knee, even. "Who let Wolfboy near the acid!?" she asked through gasps, and slapped Montare on the back as he passed, a red mark left behind with the clap the impact made. "So looong, Sailor!" It was a long hallway, and Maisie made sure to whip out her phone and snap a picture of the retreat, before withdrawing it back in her bag. Where were they? Oh, yes, promiscuity. She got her door open and trudged in, one step at a time, letting her bag and shoes fall at the door.

"Forget all of what? What did I miss?" Logan's beer tipped awkwardly towards him as she clanked his beer, some of it spilling. "Listen, the point is that we are young and pretty! At least you are young and pretty. We should do something about that!" He took another sip of his beer, and then grinned. Despite the smile, though, something seemed wrong. Each intake of air felt heavier, like a piston was compressing his chest tighter and tighter. "Hold on, I can't breathe too good, I have to take care of that. Ek-scuuuuse me!"
He wobbled his way to the door, out into the hallway. He clasped his throat lightly. Damn, he didn't feel too good. He'd have to heal himself. Logan let himself slide to the floor outside of the entrance to Room 406. He managed to heal himself in a whir of time, just enough time to guarantee him the night before he passed out. The last thing he remembered seeing was a faint green light, the light given off from his healing as he pressed a palm to his throat.

Magic shook his head. The boy crossed his arms, "Hurry up and get to your dorm. I would rather not continue to baby sit.. I have my own stuff to take care of back at my dorm.." Magic said with a huff. He looked up at the ceiling. Man this was worse than so of the children Magic had to look after one time. That was a bit of a disaster. Some people were probably thinking this party was a disaster. He was almost tempted to break it up, but that would only earn him some grief. Man this was complicated.

"Maisie!" The only reason Montare's face didn't grow redder still was because it wasn't able to do so. He looked at the doorway for a few moments, before his head dropped, looking at the floor beside him. Assuming anyone was paying enough attentiom to Montare to notice, they'd see watery droplets fall to the floor below Monty's face. He wasn't crying solely due to what Maisie had done, however. Montare was at his breaking point, and this had simply broken him, per se. "What reputation I had is fucked, but it doesn't matter because I've never had a single friend and everyone hates me..." he started to rant to himself, hardly caring who saw or heard anymore. "Every time I get a chance to fix things I fuck it up!" Montare was sobbing whenever he wasn't speaking, practically ignorant to Magic's presence.

Penny started to get a little aggravated. "I don't want them screwing up the whole party fighting like they are. Especially with one of them being the headmaster's son. If they make too much racket, there's no way this is going to last much longer..." she grumbled, turning back to Preston with a heavy sigh before downing the rest of the can of beer she had. "Oh well!" Placing the empty can back down, she gave the Autumn a small smile before leaning in close and putting her hands on his chest before her expression turned into a pout. "Well now that their fiasco is over, do you mind getting me another drink? I would get up, but... I'm so cozy and don't really want to get mixed up in all of that over there..." She said as Montare embarrassingly made his way out the door.

Richard laughed and shook his head. "Nah, we're not going to get caught. Stuff like this happens around campus all the time! I'm sure.." he said, muttering the last two words under his breath before his attention was caught by Jane yelling towards the both of them. Looking at the Autumn for a moment, Richard finally shrugged. He was here. It couldn't hurt too much, right? He wasn't going to drink enough to get drunk, but a little buzz shouldn't be a problem... right? "You want anything?" he asked, looking back at Grace. It wasn't a problem if she didn't. It was just a simple question.

Grace felt a little bit relieved at Richard's sort-of assurances, but her attentions were distracted by the clear indication of someone calling them, who just happened to be the hostess of the party. Did she want to have some fun? Did she want anything? What were they talking abou-ohhh. The bottle should have probably given her a decent-enough clue. What should she do?

The brunette gulped nervously, but this was basically what she wanted, right? To be sociable among partygoers, and this was probably the best way to do it. Her gaze when she looked at Richard was nervous, but she just nodded and walked over towards the cheerful hostess, easily moving past other partygoers to stand near her with a clearly uneasy expression on her face. "Wh-what k-kind of fun?" It was a naive question to be sure, but she felt like she needed to hear it out loud, if only to confirm what she was thinking.

Magic rolled his eyes when he watched Montare break down in front of him. "Yeah, yeah.. I fuck things up too. Welcome to the real world. Fuck ups happen, and people keep trying. So keep trying." Magic said in the most bland tone ever. He honestly didn't really care at the moment, but not saying anything wouldn't get the kid to his dorm. "Seriously though, you need to go to your dorm and put some clothes on, Wolf-boy." The winter prefect said. He really just wanted to get away from this party but that wasn't gonna happen seeing how naked wolf-boy was breaking on the floor in front of him.

"You haven't fucked up bad enough for no one to like you! At least you have friends!" Montare half-shouted as he continued to sob on the floor. He essentially ignored the second set of words to come out of Magic's mouth, not caring about his nudity at this point. "Seventeen years and I have never had a single fucking friend!" Montare showed no real sign of calming down yet, which would be problematic for anyone trying to get him out of the hall.

Luce looked at the packet in Jonathan's hand, realizing what the letter on it meant. "Sorry, I'd rather just get really drunk if that's alright with you." While he had no problems getting wasted, he wasn't sure if he wanted drugs going through his body, especially when alcohol already was. The alcohol was starting to show too; Luce's speech was starting to slur, albeit not badly enough for understanding him to become difficult.

Jeez, the guy really was drunk. Jane gave him a sidelong glance as he rambled on about... something. Did he touch anything else besides the alcohol? "Oh, uh, you think so?" she asked with an uncertain smile. Was that a compliment, or was he just high? Was it a mix of both? She was about to say something else when he brought the hand to his neck, his breathing growing heavier with each passing breath. "Hey, are you..."

But then he was gone, staggering out into the hallway. An anxious frown spread across her face and she twirled a lock of hair fretfully around her finger. He wasn't about to OD or anything, right? Jane almost ran out after him to make sure he was okay when the younger girl came padding over from the other side of the room.

Jane cast another glance out to where Logan had disappeared. If he was just drunk, then he was probably just gonna go throw up or something. If he really was in trouble, then... well, she'd be right there. Right now, she needed to unwind.

Her smile returned, and she set a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Oh, all kinds of fun," she told her with a glint in her eye. "You need something to drink? Or maybe..."

She dug around in her back pocket and pulled out a small square piece of paper. There was a Pikachu head printed over it. "Something like this?"
