Head-Whirl of A First Night [CLOSED]

It was Mastin's first night at this strange, eerie school. So far, he wasn't quite sure if he liked it here. It was a mix of old and new, and things like that set off a little worm of anxiety in the boy's stomach. An unsettling feeling and an urge to fix it.

As he wandered, his trails brushed against the walls and his full messenger bag bounced against his lanky frame. So far, he has not found the library, or seen anyone he knew he could be friends with. At this point, Mastin was shy. It was his first time away from home, and the circumstances of being sent here were not so fortunate or pleasing. Oh well. He'd live. He had his books.

After a little while of strolling, Mastin's long finger bumped up against a door frame. With a small squeak of his worn sneakers, he came to a stop. After peeking his head in, his eyes were allowed to take in the grace of a quiet and empty place -- for now. With a sigh of relief, he made an entrance through the frame and through himself down on a large, comfy couch. In personality of his habit, his had reached into his dull bag and pulled out his latest read. With a crack of the pages, his mental focus was on nothing but the words typed carefully by the author.

Not too long after the boy sat down, another girl entered, a lazy look set on her face. Dark wondered through the almost empty lounge, her eyes landed on the boy sitting on the couch not too far away from the door. Was he reading? Lame. Entering the rest of the way, Aleta found her way to the boy, and seated herself on a reclining chair that was placed near the couch. After a moment of getting comfortable, the girl dressed in her pink dress and black shirt underneath laid her head on her hand.

She didn't want to go back to her dorm room quite yet, even if it was getting close to curfew. At least. She thought it was. The young girl wasn't too sure, and quite honestly didn't feel like checking. She had been spending a lot of time inside her dorm any way. Who cared?

The day had passed by horrendously slow. Classes, sucked to no point of belief. Or at least, that was just because they were boring, and with the graduation having passed, the fact that it was practically just a "show up for extra learning" type of thing was making everything go by much slower. There weren't as many students to throw spit balls at or chat to, because most of them had either gotten to go home for the summer, or were out doing the Alaska forest trip. Which, she hadn't signed up for. She had just gotten back at Beata and wanted some time to readjust.

Speaking of readjusting, one of the things she had surely missed was the lounge. The giant TV, the nice stereo system, the comfy ass couch along with chairs sprawled out, it was the perfect scenario to just chill out on her phone. Which, she clutched in her hand tightly. The fluffy rabbit of hers was back at her dorm hopping about as it normally did, usually asleep on her bed or the likes. That was one nice thing about her rabbit, it wasn't much of a worry.

The Spring still wore her uniform, the black attire accompanied by a white blouse and a skirt with lime and green accents. The silky alabaster locks curled neatly down to the small of her back, and the gentle green eyes could scour the lounge without difficulty. She stood with the normal posture that she had been taught, and even if her parents seemed to never have time for her, at least she had been taught to stand up straight.

Arriving to the lounge, her presence wasn't contained as the soles of her shoes hit the floor, echoing throughout the room as she made her way over to one of the chairs. Sitting down in one and releasing the handle to make it recline, as Kigenami quickly scoured the area she noticed two other students there already. Hmm, I guess it still is somewhat popular. Not taking much mind to them though, she turned on her phone and was quick to start browsing through the web.

The large doors of the lounge burst open with a thunderclap start, breaking the silence as Madison rushed into the room. She looked up at the window; yes, it was dark, her reflection dynamic against the cold night sky. She had dozed off in the library. She could hardly see the light of the dormitory through the light of the room.

"Oh nooo..." She looked back at the people in the room, and hushed herself, straightened up and calmed. She'd have to find a way to the dorms somehow. She ran through the darkness when she arrived at the school, she could do it again. Of course, she could also be stabbed again. It hurt to be dying, and she would like to avoid that for that night.

Silently, dry-mouthed and failing at feigned tranquility, the girl sat in the closest chair, looking down at the floor. The room fell silent for the moment after. The clock's ticking drew them further into the night.

Magic had been chilling in the back of the room kind of out of the eyesight of the others. Honestly he didn't really feel like speaking at the moment. The silence was nice. Honestly he didn't know to many of the students here at the moment so that was probably why he wasn't speaking. The silence was honestly nice. No one talking not to much noise..

Mason flinched when he heard the doors burst open with a loud noise. Honestly he hated his hearing sometimes. The dark haired boy looked up at the girl that had recently entered, she seemed to be frightened of something. He wanted to say something, but she seemed fine after a moment. He returned his eyes to the others in the room. He only knew one person here, and he really only knew their name. So this was gonna make for a really awkward time, or a really fun time. Who knows?

That sure as hell was a scare the girl could have gone without.

Kigenami had literally jumped when she heard the doors burst open, her eyes widening with alarm and panic as it had happened. Turning directly over to where the unexpected noise had originated from, a glare was sent that way. Giving off an annoyed huff, the Spring turned back to her phone, turning it off before standing up.

"You are fine... Right? Because I can... Well wait, it's too late for that. shit." Facepalming to herself before straightening herself up, she put a smile on her face and walked over to the girl.

"In all honesty though, miss... Are you alright?"

"Yes..." She looked up, then around at everyone. Embarrassment kicked in, and her face received a pink glow. She let out a fake cough. "I don't think I can leave the building, though..."

Magic just sat back and watched the others work it out. The girl seemed afraid of something, though he wasn't quite sure what it was. The other girl didn't move from her spot but seemed that she was going to stay in her spot. Aleta was it? Yeah that was her name. He remembered meeting her a while ago. Magic moved away from his spot, and stood next to the couch. Though he could listen from where he was he felt like he should have moved.

Mastin had announced the exact question she was about to ask.

Brushing the snow-colored locks of hair behind her ear, Kigenami kept a small, welcoming smile on her face. "Is something after you, Miss?" Of course, Kigenami could always tap into the girls' mind and see what was going on... But really, that wasn't something she wished to do at that point. In all honesty, Kigenami wanted to avoid using her gift as much as possible. "Or is it something else?" It was hard not to cast a glance back towards the door and try to scope out anything that could possibly affect the girl in any way. But alas, she'd rather deal with a human being then a monster.

Madison looked out the window, from her seat nearby. Blue trees swiveled through the air, turquoise branches corkscrewing and growing before her eyes. Gray owls with curved beaks, robotic yellow eyes and sharp talons, watched her with an unfaltering gaze. Figures dappled the ground, dark men, her mother always present in the center.
"I see things," Madison said, not taking her eyes from the window. "Things that don't exists. I...make them exist, it's my gift. Or at least it doesn't seem like a gift." Her voice dropped to a whisper, dipping with her head as she gave one last moment's glance to the darkness. An owl screeched a hissed whisper. Madison promptly turned her gaze back to the light, back to the people that had spoken to her.
"I didn't mean to stay here so long. I only see them at night. I-I can't go out there, I'll get killed."

Aleta watched the entire exchange with hidden interest. Her face showed a bored look, but she was really confused why the girl came in like that. Her power, apparently likes to try and kill her. How fun. With a stretch, she dark haired girl put in her two cents. "I don't really want to go back to the dorms anyway, I'll stay with you guys." Suddenly, she was glad she came here. It may turn out to be some kind of party. It wasn't like Aleta was anti-social, it was just that she was always too lazy to go out and do stuff. Now she had a reason to stay.

"I guess I can stay too. I can provide music if need be." Magic said in a normal tone, standing there with his hands shoved into his pockets. This was probably gonna turn into a party. He just hoped it wouldn't get to bad. It might end up being some fun so might as well stay. Right?
