Hills are alive [For Crys] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptyWed Jul 15, 2015 3:42 am

Out of all the hangout spots, the courtyard was by far her favorite. It was a wide peaceful place that buzzed with students laughing or simply talking but despise all that the spring had thought it was still a nice peaceful place where students could simply enjoy the beauty and calm themselves down. Corin also liked it because it was a nice place too pratice her gift, not anything too flashy of corse her gift was far too dangerous for that. Although there was no one really around today, maybe it was because they were all studying the graduations were going too be soon and summer would finally begin. The spring wasn't too excited for summer, she would probably just end up staying at her parents house again and she would need too endure with their yapping and annoying voices. The spring had sighed, walking over towards a old looking rustic bench and sitting down on it as she gazed at the sky.

A friend had once told her that if you feel sad then look up at the clouds and time will pass without you even realizing it. So thats what she did, the spring had just sat down quietly simply gazing as the clouds drifted apart and took form again. Being a cloud sounded so simple, she was she had that life; just sit back and go wherever the breeze had took her. A soft sigh had escaped from her, although it was more difficult then that, Corin was different. Everyone at this school was, they couldn't just go anywhere without risking the secrets of the genetics they carried. It was a sad life, but she had too deal with it, it was her destiny she had too protect the gifted genes thats what her father had always told her.

Closing her eyes as she felt the breeze on her face, she had too admit the life of a gifted wasn't all too bad. You weren't considered an outcast at this school, you felt normal. You didn't need too hide who you were since everybody here was exactly like each other in some ways, it was comforting. Corin's eyes opened blinking as she had heard something. Her eyes narrowed as she saw a girl nearby and had heard something cracking nearby. Not bothering too get up, the spring had leaned back looking carefree as ever. "I don't like your use of words." Corin had said simply, looking towards the girl her eyebrow narrowing. Something was off, maybe it was her gift, she didn't like it although she was curious about it. "You really need too have your mouth cleansed with soap."

Hills are alive [For Crys] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptyWed Jul 15, 2015 4:36 am

The springs eyes narrowed, glancing towards the now destroyed tile that was destroyed by this girls foot. Her strength was incredible, it was strange. Something was different about her power, even though she didn't meet much people she never encountered a power where a girl shines like a stone and has incredible strength. Her eyebrow rose as she stepped closer, feeling a bit on edge as she drew nearer and nearer. Although it really didn't matter what her power was, not too Corin at least. Unless this girl was a long ranged fighter, she wouldn't be able too touch her. Corin had a rare ability; too be able too control the winds and even create wind, she had knew elemental powers were rare even for the normal gifted. The spring didn't have much control of her gift as well, it acts on its own. If anything poses a threat then the wind protects her, blowing away the danger away from her. Almost everyone close too her gets hurt, she even injured her younger sister once and she didn't even have a gift too protect herself.

Hurting her sister, it haunted her. She feared blood, her sister almost died because of her. And after that incident, no one in her family looked at her the same. Her mother didn't have a gift as well, the only ones in her family with special abilities were herself and her father. Thats when her father had decided too send in application too beata soo she can tone her skills, her special abilities.

Corin didn't show much sign of emotion as she had returned back too flesh, instead she cleared her throat. She never knew people were so rude, so what if this was full of highschoolers. People need too know that their are boundries and had too understand the fact that not everybody liked hearing profanity. "No." The spring had admitted, glaring towards Cassandra as she crossed her arms. "But I really don't like hearing it, so don't use words like that around me." Corin had sighed softly, maybe this girls parents hadn't raised her right who would doo something so disrespectful.

PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptyWed Jul 15, 2015 5:15 am

As the Intiate sat down near her, the spring had waved awkwardly, she never liked having people close too her but does change really hurt anybody? She didn't think so. Her blue eyes glanced towards the trash she had created, giving a soft scoff. Now that was somebody else's job too clean up, did she not know she can't destroy school property? Her eyes then glanced towards her uniform, seeing that it had no solid color it was obvious that she just enrolled at beata which explains her stupidity or cluelessness. The school year was ending but there seemed too be more and more students enrolling at beata, she didn't know why the school would allow it, since they would have summer break wouldn't it make sense too deny applications during this time?

She was lost in thought although she was pulled away from her minds and glanced towards Cassandra. Her gazed slightly confused, why was she leaning against the bush? Why not just sit next too her, the bench was big enough for two people after all. Giving a small chuckle as she had stuffed her hands in her pockets. "Hey wanna sit on the bench..? I'm sure it can fit more then me." The spring said with a smile easily forming on her features, Corin was friendly although she was actually stubborn too get close with her friends. Loyalty was rare in people now a days, most times people would just stab you right in your back. Thats what this generation was all about, it was pretty pathetic.

Her smile grew, turning soft. Maybe this girl was raised right after all. Her eyebrow rose as the breeze blowed towards her short skirt. "And besides, I don't really like looking at peoples underwear."

PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptyWed Jul 15, 2015 7:05 am

What a mess this girl was, who would ever lay on the ground with a skirt on. Was she even a girl? Maybe she didn't care but it would be awkward if she saw it, and she was doing her a favor she probably did this all the time just lay on the ground wearing a skirt, now she knows at least. The spring gave a curt nod at her name, although she didn't really care. Corin had blinked as strands of pink hair flew everywhere, some of it stuck on the branches of the bush. "Uh you okay? That looked like it hurt." She asked with a tone that wasn't very polite, and her stare was pretty rude. The spring stood up from the bench, walking towards the bush and kneeling down as she glanced at the ripped out hair. "Consider it karma, it's bad too swear, frowned upon on my family." Corin had said with a sigh, remembering all the craziness when her older brother had said something unforgivable too her parents.

Standing up again the black haired girl smiled towards Cassandra. "Well I've never seen anyone with pink hair, it's pretty." The spring had said as she walked back towards the bench too sit down and lay back too gaze towards the clouds again, zoning out, forgetting all about Cassandra for a moment. She glanced towards her as she had asked the question as she glanced at the uniform she wore everyday. "Huh? Oh yeah." The spring said it simply with a small shrug. "I'm not a fan of green, but oh well." The spring added silently, her nonchalant voice barely above a whisper.

Corin herself didn't care much for names, they weren't of any use if they weren't you're friends. Even though she seemed friendly it took alot too be friends with her, in her mind friendship was just a word, she didn't care if she was alone for the rest of her life. The blackhaired girl sighed, "I don't really use nick-names." What was the point of a nickname? You were born with a given name and thats that, no need for some silly names. "Intiate dorms been rowdy again?" She asked harmlessly, knowing that the dorms she stayed at for her first week were quite loud she could barely sleep with everybody talking al the time. "How long were you at beata for?" She threw the question into the conversation, as she watched the girl clean her hair.

Karma was cruel indeed.

That was three times she had asked for her name, dang this girl must be needy for some friends. The spring smiled although it didn't look friendly it looked more sinister, "My name isn't important not too strangers at least." Corin had said a gleam in her eyes, the girl had sighed Cassandra wasn't too bright she was sort of a loser. "Tell you what though-" the spring paused trying too think of something.I'll tell you my name for your story." Corin had said with a gleaming smile gracing onto her features. Not that the spring cared she was simply interested in how others were treated before they came too this school. Her eyes suddenly narrowed her eyebrow raising, "Oh and don't try to lie."

The spring had glanced towards the flowers, watching in peace as the flowers drifted with the wind. She looked towards Cassandra as she said she didn't know much about beata. Well how about I show you around arose bury tomorrow?"

Hills are alive [For Crys] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptySat Jul 18, 2015 4:09 am

The young spring offered a normal smile as Cassandra agreed too her idea, might as well be helpful in someways. Corin had only been too Rosebury a few times and it wasn't too big of a town but it was pretty busy, the streets buzzed with people and cars unlike her town where the streets where desolate and there was hardly any traffic at all. Although the black haired girl liked quieter smaller towns, the neighbors were all kind and everyone seemed too enjoy each other, her neighborhood was like one big happy family. Although Corins family had it's secrets like every other family did, her secret was her gift and it was a big one. So her mother wouldn't invite other families over like normal people did, instead she forbid anyone from entering her house and even she didn't go to other houses.

The black haired girl sighed, Cassandra sure was stubborn about the name thing. Corin had no idea why she cared so much for something without any value. Did she seriously need her name too talk with her? Why couldn't she just chat and not worry about something like that. "It's Corin." The spring said quietly, her eyes narrowing she didn't care about her story now she would probably just lie. "I guess you're right, I don't care anymore." The spring had slightly inched away from Cassandra as she had felt uncomfortable around her now, before glancing back at her. "So whats your gift anyways."

PostSubject: Re: Hills are alive [For Crys]   Hills are alive [For Crys] EmptySun Jul 19, 2015 7:18 am

As there was a moment of silence, a small blue butterfly had drifted by causing the springs thoughts too wander away and bring back nostalgic thoughts of how she and her younger sister would chase butterflies across their fields and attempt too catch them they were good times, if only she could go back too those days, where it was just her and her younger sister. It also brought memories of her first friendships, names don't matter - all that matters is the trust.

Blinking as she glanced back at Cassandra, as she began speaking she was slightly confused with her gift. All the people she ran into had weird powers, she was glad she had a simple one that just let her control the wind. Although having supper strength did sound pretty cool, she wanted too see her benchpress that truck herself. "Eh, Mine's just wind control." The spring had said with a laid-back tone and a care-free shrug.

Nothing came good from Corin's power as well, the spring couldn't control it easily and well it also made a path of destruction whenever she got upset. Although something neat does come from it, whenever she's in danger the wind quickly acts like a thick shield not letting anything get past it, but it does break quite easily. The spring had blinked when Cassandra had complimented her, only too stare with confusion and doubt before answering. "It's not that great." The spring had said raising an eyebrow towards her, Cassandra seemed to get excited easily. It was annoying.

A sigh had came from the spring at the request, not that she had anything against her she was just lazy and didn't want too do almost anything. "...Sure" Corin had answered lowly stuffing a hand in a pocket as she rose a finger. Rotating her finger in a clock wise way a gust like wind was visible and spun in place before it had turned invisible again.
